Hidden Gems: Meet Erika Abraham of The Affluent Empire

Today we’d like to introduce you to Erika Abraham.

Hi Erika , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My journey in the financial services industry began in July 2010, four months after having my firstborn son. I was so excited to have my own office and I learned so much as a Financial Services Specialist! I obtained my life license and my series 6, 63 and 65 and began earning promotions, eventually becoming a Branch Manager in October 2012. I started focusing more on insurance and investments and I was introduced to Primerica in January 2018! Seven months later I became a Regional Vice President and opened my own office in my hometown of Anderson, SC!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I’ve been extremely blessed in my life overall and in my career! I was pregnant with my beautiful identical twin girls in June 2020 and with having a multiple pregnancy I did slow down in my career for awhile. I just thank God for all things and for allowing me to build a successful business that is truly helping individuals and that also aligns with fulfilling my commitment to my why which is my children, Kingston, Lyric and Loyal. They motivate me regardless of what struggles may come along.

We’ve been impressed with The Affluent Empire , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Our organization specializes in growing, protecting, and positioning people’s money so they can build real financial security—both now and for the future. We provide comprehensive financial solutions including life insurance, investments, retirement planning, college-education planning, mortgages, and more, all delivered through a personalized, education-first approach.

What truly sets us apart is that we don’t just offer financial products—we teach people how money works. Financial literacy is at the core of everything we do. We help families make informed decisions, eliminate confusion, and create strategies that align with their long-term goals, not just short-term needs.

In addition to serving clients, we are also known for creating income-building opportunities through our part-time and full-time business model. This allows individuals to earn additional income, develop leadership skills, and build a business of their own—often while maintaining their current careers. This dual mission of financial protection and wealth creation is a cornerstone of our brand.

Brand-wise, we are most proud of the impact we make. From helping families secure proper coverage, to guiding first-time investors, to assisting parents with college planning and retirees with income strategies, our work changes lives in practical, measurable ways. We pride ourselves on integrity, transparency, and empowering people with options.

We want readers to know that our brand stands for education, empowerment, and access. Financial freedom should not be reserved for a select few—it should be attainable for anyone willing to learn and take action. That belief drives everything we do.
