Hi Chloe , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
didn’t wake up one day knowing I wanted to work with lashes. It started way smaller than that—just me, a mirror, and a growing curiosity about how something so simple could completely change the way someone feels. I was a single mom trying to juggle kids working in the middle of a Covid pandemic and I knew something had to change. I felt like I was missing my kids growing up so I really was like what do I love and at first I said make up so let me go to aesthetician school and the more and more I continue doing my journey during school, I realize that makeup wasn’t my true love lashes were. Once I graduated school I started working at a shop and I worked my butt off night and day the more clients I got the better I became. Last year February I decided that I wanted to become my own boss. So I began the process and I was thinking what do I want my name to be and I said I wanted someplace where women could come feel safe and happy, and that’s how Lash Haven became my name because Haven means sanctuary and I look at a sanctuary as a safe place where there is no judgment. Every client that has sat in my chair has one way or another contributed to my goals in my dreams in life and really helped me create this brand that I’m growing. The best decision I ever did was going into Main St., Studios where you’re not just a sweet number they treat you like family and support your business ideas and give you feedback and help you grow your business where you don’t feel alone. So it’s crazy that my little idea of going to aesthetician school in December 2019 has turned into almost 4 years of lashing, and it was the best decision I ever made.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it has not been a smooth road, but what journey is really smooth there have been ups and downs, but luckily there has been a supportive community of individuals whether it’s other business owners or just friends and Lash groups that I have always been able to count on and go to get feedback from. Growing your clients hell from the very beginning is always the hardest thing you can do when starting out, but not giving up and just keep pushing and advertising and practicing has been the one thing I can say that has helped.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Lash Haven Studios ?
Lash Haven Studios was founded in February 2024 after working for somebody for 2 1/2 years. I decided that I wanted to create my own legacy and my own name for myself.. I wanted my business seem to really truly mean something in Haven sanctuary and I just love that idea that women can feel thief and not judge coming in and being who they are no matter what. I specialize in lash extensions. It’s something I truly love doing. I love how it can instantly change your whole face your whole mood. It’s literally the best thing I could’ve ever learned how to do.. I honestly believe that my work ethic as well as my customer service sets me apart from other people everybody has their meats and techniques and I believe that going above and beyond for every client no matter if it’s their first time or it’s their hundredth time coming to you. I believe you should always go above and beyond for them. A little staple when you come into my suite is with either listening to Judge Judy podcast or our murder mystery podcast. It’s the highlight of their lash appointments I feel.. I want the readers to know no matter who you are you’re always welcome in my suite no matter if it’s just for a brawl wax or for a full set it’s a safe place no judgment and a great time
