Exploring Life & Business with Katina Pipkins-Byrd of Infinity Health and Wellness Clinic,LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Katina Pipkins-Byrd.

Hi Katina, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Caregiving has always been a part of who I am. Growing up, I watched my mother work as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and her compassion for others inspired me early on. That experience sparked a passion that would shape the next 35 years of my life.

I began my journey in healthcare as a CNA and steadily worked my way up—becoming a Medical Assistant, Surgical Technologist, LPN, RN, and ultimately a Family Nurse Practitioner. With each step, my goal was simple: learn more, do more, and provide better, more meaningful care to my patients.

As a Nurse Practitioner, I had the opportunity to conduct in-home assessments, and that’s where my perspective shifted. I saw how much more comfortable patients were in their own environment. They were more at ease, more open, and more engaged in their care. I also realized that many people face barriers like transportation, which can make accessing healthcare difficult.

After COVID, the need for convenient, in-home care became even more clear. In March 2025, I began exploring the idea of creating a mobile clinic that focused on health and wellness. By June, that vision became reality with the launch of Infinity Health and Wellness Clinic—a name that reflects my commitment to comprehensive, continuous care.

Today, I provide mobile services such as IV hydration, vitamin therapy, weight loss management, physicals, and health coaching—bringing healthcare directly to patients where they feel most comfortable: at home.

This journey has been built on passion, perseverance, and purpose. What started as a young girl inspired by her mother has grown into a career—and now a business—dedicated to making healthcare more accessible, personal, and impactful.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like many small business owners, I’ve faced challenges along the way—especially when it comes to building a client base. Finding new patients and consistently growing the business can be difficult, particularly while balancing the demands of a full-time job.

Marketing, advertising, and following up on leads all take time and energy, and that’s been one of the biggest challenges—making sure I’m fully present for both my career and my business. There have definitely been moments where it felt overwhelming.

However, I remain committed and focused on my vision. I continue to put in the work, stay consistent, and look for new ways to connect with patients and grow the practice. Every challenge has been a learning experience, and it’s only made me more determined to succeed.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
Infinity Health and Wellness Clinic is a mobile healthcare practice built around one simple idea: bringing high-quality, personalized care directly to patients—where they are most comfortable. We focus on convenience, accessibility, and preventative wellness, especially for individuals who face barriers like transportation or busy schedules.

Since launching in July 2025, our services have continued to grow to meet the needs of our community. In addition to IV hydration therapy, vitamin injections, weight loss management, physicals, and health coaching, we now offer DOT and non-DOT drug testing, as well as flu and COVID testing starting at just $35—providing fast, convenient in-home or onsite care.

We also provide a range of in-home clinical and wellness services, including post-illness recovery visits, annual wellness visits, medication setup, new diagnosis education, wound care, and home safety assessments—particularly beneficial for older adults. Our in-home wellness checks include vitals, lab draws, medication reviews, and personalized care planning. We also support workplaces through on-site wellness visits and offer services like ear wax removal for safe, professional relief.

In the coming month, we’re excited to introduce low-cost lab testing to further improve access to essential health services. We’re also expanding our care team by partnering with a dietitian who will provide nutrition counseling and customized workout plans, allowing us to support patients even more holistically.

What truly sets us apart is the level of personalized, relationship-based care we provide. With over 35 years of healthcare experience, I’ve built this brand around compassion, trust, and continuity of care. We don’t just treat symptoms—we take time to educate, support, and empower our patients in their health journey.

Currently, we operate as a cash-based business, which allows us to offer flexible, transparent services without the limitations of insurance. However, we do plan to expand into accepting insurance in the near future to reach even more patients.

What I’m most proud of is that Infinity Health and Wellness Clinic represents more than just services—it represents a commitment to meeting patients where they are and delivering care that is personal, accessible, and impactful. Our goal is to redefine how healthcare is delivered by making it more convenient, more compassionate, and truly centered around the patient.

What’s next?
Looking ahead, my vision for Infinity Health and Wellness Clinic is continued growth and expansion. I plan to add more services that support both preventative care and overall wellness, allowing us to meet an even wider range of patient needs.

One of my major goals is to establish a brick-and-mortar location while still maintaining our mobile services. This will give patients the flexibility to receive care either at home or in a dedicated clinical setting, depending on their preference.

I’m also excited about building strong partnerships with other healthcare providers. Collaborating with professionals such as dietitians, specialists, and other clinicians will allow us to offer more comprehensive, well-rounded care and reach more patients in the community.

Ultimately, I’m looking forward to growing the brand in a way that continues to prioritize accessibility, convenience, and high-quality, patient-centered care. My goal is to expand our impact while staying true to the mission that started it all—meeting patients where they are and helping them live healthier lives.
