Hi DJ, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Mad Moose Equipment was started in response to the demand for fair pricing and a desire to provide better than industry standard customer service. We felt like there was an opportunity in the market to offer a better rental experience and simplify the entire process. We started by offering our services to local contractors and have since opened up to the greater Charlotte NC market and beyond. Mad Moose Equipment has gotten to where it is today by putting the customers needs first and going above and beyond to see to it our customers have what they need, when they need it, every time they need it. Listening to customers needs and being willing to address them has led to growth in our offered service’s. Starting out as strictly equipment rental has since morphed into offering for hire trucking services, Mobile mechanic services, as well as equipment and attachment sales.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The road definitely hasn’t been smooth. We’ve had our fair share of stumbles along the way but we firmly believe how you deal with those stumbles is what sets us up for success in the long run. Being the new kids on the block it was difficult to gain the trust of customers who have had multi year relationships with other providers so we endured a period where we had to prove ourselves but once we were able to show our commitment to the customers they very quickly became ours!

Mad moose Equipment is a premier rental company providing the utmost customer support in relationships and in all aspects of the transaction from beginning to end and in preparation for the next one. we are known for providing same-day service and the ability to cater to customers specific needs. Our customers appreciate that we have no red tape to cut through, but that our sales team is able to make decisions and execute transactions swiftly and consistently. Mad moose is set apart by its simplicity. As an example, we do not maintain a massive salesforce or staff that gets in the way of getting the deal done or is hindered by a lengthy chain of command. Something surprising to most new customers that we meet is it as a business owner and manager of multiple companies I still make the time to go out and meet our customers personally and get to know them and their businesses as well as possible. we take customer service very seriously and feel that we truly understand the importance that it plays in the relationships that we intend to build and fortify over the coming years. One of the greatest joys of this business is getting to know who our customers really are and having the privilege of listening to their goals and dreams and aspirations that they have in their lives and withintheir companies which intern gives us a better opportunity to cater more specific services to them on an individual basis.
