Tanya, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I, Tanya Gillie, was born in Brooklyn, New York; but raised in Columbia, South Carolina.
My passion for entrepreneurship stems from my biological Father’s side of the family where my grandparents own and operated a BBQ pit and a Liquor store.
I am the owner/CEO of Tee Professional Services LLC offering life insurance, health insurance, travel insurance, notary services, and B2B contracts with various insurance carriers processing catastrophe claims.
My brand is Tee Professional in which I am expanding to Tee Professional Freight, Tee Professional Adjusters, and Tee Professional Holdings LLC (real estate investment).
I have also developed a non-profit, Tee Professional Connections Network., where I serve teens between 16-18 to learn financial literacy, create small businesses, and obtain passports.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth road. There is so much I had to learn, there are a lot of things that I learned, and there is still so much that I must learn. However, I have stumbled across a lot of resources to assist in my entrepreneurial growth.
I still need an Accountant/CPA because I doing this all myself and I am positive there is room for improvement. I need a Lawyer because I want to trademark my business and make sure it is structured in the best way.
Budgeting is an issue due to fluctuating incoming cash flow.
I am currently experiencing challenges because my B2B contracts are at an all-time low.

I provide a comprehensive range of insurance services tailored to my client’s unique requirements for travel, health and/or life insurance (term, whole life, IUL).
I provide notary services that are convenient and efficient (mobile / practically to one’s doorstep).
I provide resource consulting by partnering with other small businesses in which I leverage with my clients.
I am licensed and certified to contract with various insurance firms and carriers to process claims of all natures such as property, auto, workers comp, and general liability, especially during catastrophic events
