Today we’d like to introduce you to Sok Hwee Tay
Hi Sok Hwee, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My story began when I was born, just as your story began when you were born. I feel strongly that everything in our life from the time we were born leads us to where we are today. There were many pivotal moments that led me to where I am today. One of the most profound one happened during the pandemic whenI found my path crossed with Reiki. Reiki helped me to tune in within and I came to a lot of self-realization during that time. My own personal experience with Reiki led me to continued learning to enhance by own practice and to eventually teach others to use this practice for themselves and also others.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
A path worth traveling is not always going to be smooth but I see them as opportunities for deeper inner growth and expansion. Most of the struggles were within myself. I had to release a lot of fears that stems from childhood. I was nudged towards more trust and surrender in myself and my greater purpose.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a Reiki Teacher and Practitioner that also utilizes breathwork and sound healing in my practice. I offer Reiki classes, energy healing sessions and Sound Meditation Events. I believe that everyone brings something unique to the table. I make a conscious effort to show integrity, respect and authenticity in my work and teachings. That seems to attract clients and students who value qualities.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
There is no such thing as obstacles; only opportunities. Everything that we experience in life is an opportunity to be shown what really needs to be shown for us. Life is working for us and not against us.
