Hi Moesha , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started De’vine Beauty with a simple love for beauty and a desire to create something that was more than just makeup. What began as a lash business eventually grew into a vision for a faith-based beauty brand centered around confidence, purpose, and sisterhood.
As I grew, I realized I didn’t just want to sell beauty products. I wanted De’vine Beauty to remind girls and women that beauty is not just about how you look it’s also about knowing who you are, building your confidence, and understanding that God created you with purpose. That’s where the heart behind De’vine Beauty really came from: “Beauty with Purpose. Confidence through Faith.”
My journey has had its ups and downs. I’ve had seasons where I had to pause, rebuild, learn, and figure out what I truly wanted the brand to become. But instead of giving up, I’ve continued to allow God to reshape the vision and give me the wisdom to build it the right way.
Today, De’vine Beauty is growing into more than a beauty brand. I envision it as a community where girls and women can feel beautiful, encouraged, confident, and supported while growing in their faith. Through products, encouragement, prayer, and the Beauty Besties community, my goal is to create a brand that makes women feel seen both inside and out. I’m still building, but I’m excited about where De’vine Beauty is going. I believe this is only the beginning, and I’m trusting God to help me turn the vision He gave me into something that can impact other women for years to come.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges has been trying to build De’vine Beauty while also navigating seasons where I didn’t have the resources, finances, or support I needed to move forward the way I wanted to. There have been times when I had to pause, rethink the vision, and start over instead of completely giving up.
Another challenge has been learning how to balance being a young entrepreneur with everything else life brings. I’ve had moments of doubt where I questioned whether I was really capable of turning De’vine Beauty into the brand I envisioned. I’ve also had to learn patience because I wanted things to happen quickly, but I’ve realized that building something meaningful takes time.
Through every obstacle, I’ve learned to trust God more, stay consistent, and remember why I started. The challenges haven’t stopped me; they’ve helped me become more intentional about the brand and the woman behind it. I’m still overcoming things along the way, but I believe every setback has taught me something that will help De’vine Beauty become stronger.

I’m a creative designer and the founder of De’vine Beauty, a faith-based beauty brand focused on confidence, purpose, and self-expression. I specialize in creating beauty experiences and products that make women feel confident while reminding them of who they are. I’m most proud of turning my creativity into a growing business. What sets me apart is that I combine beauty, creativity, faith, and community to create something that goes beyond the product.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
My advice would be to start before you feel completely ready. You’re going to learn a lot along the way, and you won’t have everything figured out in the beginning and that’s okay. I wish I understood earlier that consistency is more important than perfection.
Don’t be afraid to start small, make mistakes, ask questions, and adjust as you grow. Most importantly, stay true to your vision and don’t compare your beginning to someone else’s middle. Trust God, trust the process, and keep going even when it feels like nothing is happening.
