Hi Kia , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started my career as a nail technician, building my business through years of hard work, creativity, and connecting with my clients. I expanded out to teaching nail classes, one on one and group, and launched my own nail supply line. After spending 10+ years behind the nail table, I decided to explore another side of my creativity and began creating faceless content in November 2025.
What started as something I was simply experimenting with quickly grew into something much bigger. I began sharing relatable quotes and lifestyle-focused content on Instagram, and my page has grown to over 86,000 followers and more than 200 million views monthly.
My journey has taught me that you don’t always have to show your face or have a huge platform to make an impact. Consistency, understanding your audience, and creating content that people genuinely connect with can completely change your life.
Today, I’m continuing to grow as a content creator while also using everything I’ve learned to help other aspiring creators understand the power of social media. My journey from nail technician to successful faceless content creator has been unexpected, but it has shown me that taking a chance on yourself can open doors you never imagined.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
No, it definitely wasn’t always a smooth road. When I first started doing nails, I was starting from zero. I had to build my clientele from the ground up, create a portfolio, gain people’s trust, and continuously improve my skills. The nail industry is constantly changing, so I also had to learn new techniques, keep up with trends, and find ways to make my work stand out in a very competitive industry.
Building a business takes patience, and there were definitely times when I questioned whether everything I was doing would pay off. I had to learn how to stay consistent even when the results weren’t happening as quickly as I wanted.
Social media has been very similar. When I first started creating faceless content, there were periods where my growth felt completely stagnant. My followers weren’t increasing, my content wasn’t performing the way I wanted, and there were times when I genuinely wanted to give up. It can be discouraging to put so much time and creativity into something and feel like nobody is seeing it.
Instead of quitting, I used those slow periods as opportunities to learn. I paid attention to what was working, studied my audience, experimented with different types of content, and stayed consistent even when I wasn’t seeing immediate results. Eventually, things started to change, and the growth I’m experiencing today is a result of continuing to show up during the times when it would have been easiest to stop.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that success rarely happens overnight. Whether it was building my nail clientele or growing my social media platform, I had to be willing to start at zero, learn from my mistakes, adapt, and keep going. The slow seasons were actually some of the most important parts of my journey because they taught me patience, consistency, and how to believe in what I was building before everyone else could see it.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
My parents have always been two of my biggest supporters. They have supported me through every stage of my journey, encouraged my ideas, and believed in me even when I was still figuring things out for myself. Having that kind of support system has meant so much to me.
I also have to give a lot of credit to my boyfriend, Brayduece. He played a major role in my transition into faceless content. He introduced me to the concept in a way that helped me see the bigger possibilities and encouraged me to take it seriously. He helped me understand the strategy behind faceless content, supported me while I was learning, and continued to encourage me as I grew.
A lot of my success today comes from having people around me who believed in me, supported my vision, and pushed me to keep going. I’m extremely grateful for everyone who has played a part in helping me get to where I am today.
