Hi Kelsey, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
For 7 years, I worked in healthcare which was a stable career, but never one that truly lit me up. At the same time, I was bartending part-time, something I had done for over a decade. Every time I stepped behind the bar, I felt the spark. I loved being part of the moments people remember forever — the celebrations, the toasts, the joy. That passion led me to dream up something more intentional, more creative, more me.
I wanted to create a mobile bar experience that went beyond simply pouring drinks. I wanted to build something that celebrates people — with intention, creativity, and a whole lot of style. A space where custom cocktails, meaningful connections, and thoughtful service come together to elevate any event.
But I didn’t build it alone.
My fiancé Omar, an engineer by trade and business brain by nature, has been the driving force behind our builds and operations. From designing and building the bars to streamlining the business side of things, he’s the quiet powerhouse behind the scenes to mixing cocktails at events. Together, we’ve poured our hearts into this business — blending my love of hospitality with his eye for structure, design, and strategy.
Minted & Muddled LLC is more than just a mobile bar. It’s a shared dream, brought to life by two people who love what they do — and love helping others celebrate their biggest moments, beautifully!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
We wouldn’t say there haven’t been any struggles because building something meaningful always comes with its challenges. But we’ve truly loved every step of it. From learning curves to long nights, each moment has helped us grow and refine what Minted & Muddled LLC is all about. We’ve been lucky to have each other’s support, a clear vision, and a whole lot of passion. That’s made very rare tough parts feel worth it.
At the end of the day, we don’t see obstacles — just opportunities to get better, be better, and serve our clients with even more heart.
