Daily Inspiration: Meet Ernetta Caldwell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ernetta Caldwell.

Hi Ernetta, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

I’m Ernetta Caldwell, author, actress, coach and I founded my business Beauty For Ashes Transformations, LLC from a place of deep pain turned purpose. After enduring childhood molestation, foster care, becoming a mother at 15, and later going through a painful divorce, I hit a point where I wanted to give up. But God never gave up on me—and that truth changed everything.

Today, I help women heal from heartbreak and trauma, guiding them to rebuild their confidence, gain clarity, and create a vision for their future. I am the creator of the “Prayer Vision Box” a powerful tool that I use to help women create a vision for their futures and release the shackles of their past.

Through faith-led coaching, healing resources, and transformational events, I empower women to rise from their broken places and walk boldly into the life they were meant to live.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Absolutely not. The road to healing and purpose has been anything but smooth. It’s been filled with valleys of pain, seasons of silence, and moments where I questioned my worth and purpose. I’ve struggled with deep emotional wounds from childhood molestation, the instability of foster care, and the overwhelming responsibility of becoming a mother at 15. As I got older, I thought I had made it through the worst—until divorce shattered the life I had worked so hard to build.

There were days I didn’t want to get out of bed. Days when I questioned God. Days when I felt unseen, unloved, and unworthy. I battled with shame, anger, and fear of starting over. But even in my lowest moments, God never let me go. And I held onto that truth.

Starting this business wasn’t just about helping others—it was about healing myself. Every workshop, conference, and course I create is a piece of my own journey. I’ve had to learn how to lead while still healing, how to show up for others while rebuilding myself, and how to turn my pain into power. The struggle was real—but so is the victory.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a school nurse and a healing transformation coach for women—two roles that may seem different on the surface but are deeply connected by purpose. As a school nurse, I care for the physical and emotional well-being of children every day. I don’t just treat scraped knees or sore throats; I offer comfort, encouragement, and a reminder that every child has the potential to become something great. I use my position to speak life into students, showing them that their circumstances don’t define their future—they do.

Outside of the school, I specialize in helping women heal from heartbreak, trauma, and life transitions. Whether it’s divorce, loss, or a lifelong battle with self-worth, I create safe spaces for women to release pain, rediscover who they are, and rebuild their lives with confidence and clarity. I’m known for leading transformational Prayer Vision Box parties and conferences like “I Am Healed,” which combine faith, healing practices, and creating a vision plan to guide women on their personal journeys.

I’m most proud of the lives I’ve helped change—whether it’s a child who finally believes they’re enough or a woman who decides to live again after heartbreak. I’m proud that I didn’t let my own trauma silence me, but instead used it as fuel to empower others.

What sets me apart is that I lead from lived experience. I don’t teach healing and hope from a distance—I’ve walked through the fire myself. I know what it feels like to be broken, forgotten, and stuck. But I also know the power of God’s restoration, and I use that testimony to reach others where they are. Whether I’m with a student in the nurse’s office or a woman at one of my events, I meet them with compassion, faith, and a vision for what’s possible beyond the pain.

What makes you happy?
What makes me truly happy is being able to make a difference in someone’s life. There’s no greater joy than seeing someone heal, find their strength, and finally believe that their past doesn’t define them. Watching a woman take her first step toward freedom or hearing a student say, “I believe in myself now,” reminds me that my pain had a purpose—and it’s being fulfilled through service.

I’m also happiest when I’m spending time with my family. They are my heart, my safe place, and my motivation. Whether we’re sharing laughs at home or making memories while traveling, those moments remind me of what truly matters—love, connection, and living life fully.

Traveling brings me joy because it represents freedom—freedom to explore, breathe, and dream beyond limitations. It refreshes my soul and keeps me inspired to keep pouring into others.
