Today we’d like to introduce you to Ellie Dobleske.
Hi Ellie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Ellie Rae Dobleske, and I am a social media influencer and actor. Over the past several years, I have built a community of more than 2.2 million followers across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube by sharing my life, creativity, and passion for entertainment.
I began creating content in 2020 and quickly discovered a love for connecting with audiences through storytelling. Since then, I have had the opportunity to work with numerous brands, including Walmart, L’Oréal Paris, Hulu, and Nordstrom’s BP line. Through social media, I’ve been able to combine my creativity, personality, and entrepreneurial spirit while building a career doing what I love.
At the same time, acting has always been my greatest passion. I recently graduated from Florida State University with a BFA in Acting and a minor in Communications. Throughout my career, I have appeared in numerous short and feature films, including Bad Haircut directed by Kyle Minsky and Bad Counselors. I also starred in a YouTube reality series called The Fab 4, which followed my life and the lives of three fellow content creators.
Today, I am fortunate to pursue both of my passions—acting and content creation. While social media has opened incredible doors and allowed me to connect with millions of people, acting remains at the heart of everything I do. I love sharing my journey with my audience and inspiring others to pursue their creative dreams while continuing to grow as both an actor and creator.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely has not been a completely smooth road. The social media side of my career comes with a lot of incredible opportunities, but it also comes with challenges that most people don’t see. When you put your life online, you’re opening yourself up to criticism, negativity, and sometimes completely false narratives. There have been times when hateful comments and online negativity affected me mentally, especially because I started social media at a young age.
In many ways, social media forced me to grow up quickly. Looking back, though, I wouldn’t change that experience because it helped shape me into the person I am today. I’ve become stronger, more confident, and more secure in who I am. One of the things I’m most passionate about now is mental health, and I try to be open about those conversations with my audience because I know so many people are dealing with similar struggles.
With social media, there will always be ups and downs. There will always be unwanted criticism, fake news, and people who feel entitled to comment on your life. But I’ve learned that those comments do not define me. My worth is not determined by strangers on the internet. What keeps me grounded is my faith in God, the love of my family, and an incredible support system that reminds me who I am beyond social media. At the end of the day, those challenges have made me more resilient, and I’m grateful for the growth that has come from them.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My work is centered around two passions: acting and content creation. As an actor, I have experience in film, television, and stage performance, and I recently graduated from Florida State University with a BFA in Acting. Acting has always been my first love, and I am constantly looking for opportunities to tell stories, connect with audiences, and bring characters to life.
As a content creator, I specialize in comedy, lifestyle, and entertainment content. What originally helped grow my platform was my ability to do character and voice impressions. One of my earliest viral videos was an impression of Dora the Explorer, and from there I discovered that I could bring many different cartoon characters and personalities to life. Those videos helped me build a community of millions of followers and established my unique voice online.
What sets me apart is my authenticity and energy. Whether I’m creating content or stepping onto a set, I bring a genuine enthusiasm and positivity that people connect with. While I love making people laugh through comedy and funny skits, I also make a point to show the realistic side of life. Social media often highlights only the perfect moments, but I believe people appreciate seeing both the exciting and ordinary parts of my journey.
Some followers know me as “the Dora girl,” while others know me as “the goggles girl” because of a comedy skit that unexpectedly resonated with millions of people. What I have learned is that the most meaningful connections often come from the simplest and funniest moments.
What I am most proud of isn’t a follower count or a viral video—it’s the messages I receive from people telling me that my content helped them smile during a difficult time. Knowing that something I created could brighten someone’s day, even for a few minutes, is incredibly rewarding. Whether through acting or social media, my goal has always been the same: to entertain, connect with people, and make a positive impact through storytelling.
What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
The most important lesson I’ve learned throughout my journey is to never give up. Whether it’s social media or acting, both industries are filled with highs and lows. There are seasons when opportunities seem endless, and there are seasons when things feel slow and uncertain. I’ve learned that success isn’t about avoiding those difficult moments—it’s about continuing to move forward through them.
I’ve also learned not to take everything personally. In acting, you can give an audition your all and still not book the role. On social media, you can put your heart into a piece of content and have it underperform, or face criticism from people who don’t know you. Early on, those things felt much heavier, but over time I’ve realized that rejection, setbacks, and opinions are simply part of the process.
What matters most is resilience. The people who succeed are often the people who keep showing up, keep improving, and keep believing in themselves even when things aren’t going their way. I’ve learned to focus on what I can control, stay true to who I am, and trust that consistency and hard work will eventually pay off. That mindset has helped me grow both personally and professionally, and it’s something I carry with me every day.
