Hi Cherie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
This year, I introduced a new service to my business my Bloom Bar and it has quickly become one of my favorite offerings.
The inspiration came during a trip to Paris. Everywhere I looked, I was surrounded by beautiful fresh flowers lining the streets, decorating cafés, and filling charming storefronts. Seeing how flowers were woven into everyday life sparked an idea that stayed with me long after I returned home.
I’ve always loved fresh flowers and the joy they bring, so I wanted to create an experience that would allow others to enjoy them in a fun, interactive way. That’s how my Bloom Bar was born. It’s more than just flowers, it’s an opportunity for guests to be creative, connect with one another, and leave with a beautiful arrangement they designed themselves.
As the owner of Precious Designs by Cherie, I already specialize in event planning and elegant event décor. Adding the Bloom Bar to my services felt like the perfect way to offer clients something unique that combines beauty, creativity, and memorable experiences.
My goal is simple: to create moments that are not only beautiful but also meaningful. Whether it’s a wedding, bridal shower, birthday celebration, corporate event, or private gathering, I love bringing people together through the timeless beauty of fresh flowers.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I think the most challenging thing that I’ve had was coming up with a price point but after a couple of events. I think we have figured it out to be affordable for the bloom bar experience and our customers.

What I love most is creating experiences that are both elegant and meaningful, where people not only enjoy the décor but also connect and make lasting memories.
What are your plans for the future?
I would like to offer packages to businesses and to see the business grow to other areas
