Daily Inspiration: Meet Anne Costa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anne Costa.

Hi Anne, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for sharing your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
My sweet tooth has pushed me to learn how to make desserts since I was a little kid. But when I learned how to make macarons, it hit differently! My path as an “official” macaron home baker started after my friends insisted I sell my macarons. I opened my small business on December/23, and It has been a great experience so far!

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I’m not a full-time baker, so my main struggle is to manage my time between my “9 to 5” with my small business. It’s not easy sometimes, but working with something that makes people happy is very rewarding.

Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I make custom French macarons. And since I started making macarons to sell, I wanted to make something different. We offer not only traditional French macarons but also macarons in different shapes! Special characters and themed macarons are what set my business apart from others.

How do you think about luck?
I’ve been fortunate to meet some incredible clients (and friends) who keep me motivated about what I do.

Pricing:

  • $24 dozen traditional macarons
  • $36 dozen custom made macarons
