Hi Victoria , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I attended esthetician school in 2017 and upon getting licensed, I began working at a spa in downtown Columbia in early 2018. I worked there until I had my daughter, Murphy. I took a year off from working to be with her before returning to work. I loved being a mom but I also loved helping people with their skincare. I returned to work at a hair salon & spa in Camden before applying for my LLC and starting my own business- VB Esthetics.
I now work in downtown Camden in a private suite offering a variety of custom facials and treatments, brow and lash services and waxing. I feel completely happy and blessed helping others feel their best. Esthetics is a rewarding profession that I truly feel is my calling.
I am so thankful my clients trust me to help them enhance their own natural beauty!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I think at some point, every job has its challenges. When I returned to work after taking a year off, it was a little bit of a struggle getting my name back out there and building clientele in Camden vs Columbia.
Then Covid happened and everything shut down. That was a difficult time but my business survived and has continued to grow!
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I am a licensed professional that provides a variety of skincare services, as well as brow, lash and waxing services. I am able to help teach clients how to improve and maintain their skin health to look and feel their very best self! Looking your best makes you feel good!
I thoroughly enjoy the relationships I have built with my clients. They are not just clients but friends! I believe it is important to make every client feel comfortable.
The quality of my services and providing a relaxed atmosphere set me apart from others in the industry.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I utilize an online booking link to make booking a service with me as easy as possible. I’m also available via text or phone call for those that have questions or need help booking! Giving a small business owner a “follow” on instagram or Facebook helps more than people realize! Receiving reviews is always a nice treat, too! I never get tired of meeting a client for the first time and them telling me a friend or family member referred them- that’s the best!

- Waxing varies in pricing between $10-65.
