Today we’d like to introduce you to Riley Bradley.
Hi Riley, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Like many other entrepreneurs, my business bloomed out of the uncertainty of the pandemic. I am a professional dancer, and in 2020 I wasn’t sure what my industry would look like in years to come. I started doing research on opportunities and began educating myself outside of the dance space. I wanted something that gave me flexibility and also allowed me to help people. In the beginning I had no idea where this would lead.
What started as a small side hustle as a virtual assistant, has grown into a full service social media agency. I’ve found a passion for the creative side, but I’ve also really learned a lot about the logistics of what it looks like to run a business. Both of my parents were self employed so I feel the entrepreneurial spirit has always been inside of me.
I am new to Myrtle Beach, but something I am so thankful for is the fact that I can bring my business with me anywhere, and meet the most amazing people in the process! As a performer, we are always in search for “side hustles”, but being an entrepreneur has completely changed my life. I’ve been able to find freedom financially, work with inspiring people, and explore the world all while growing a community.
Not only am I your social media manager, but I really enjoy when clients become friends. I am so thankful my journey has brought me to Myrtle Beach, and I cannot wait to see what’s in store here!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I don’t think any business owner would say it’s “smooth”. There are so many aspects that you are forced to learn as you go. It can be overwhelming at times. The need to constantly be doing the next best thing. Always continuing to educate yourself. And in the social media world, everything is always changing so you are forced to keep up on the latest trends and tricks in order for you and your clients to succeed.
That is obviously just the surface of the challenges that come your way, but regardless – it’s all worth it! The way my life has changed since starting Just B Media Haus is nothing I could have ever dreamt for myself. It’s crazy because it didn’t happen over night for me. I don’t feel like I was confident in myself or my business until about year three, but now I’m able to see what I bring to the table. I’m so excited to see what’s coming!
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a social media manager running a creative digital agency! We specialize in content creation. We also provide branding, strategy, digital marketing, coaching & consulting, content planning, and more.
I am so proud of the services we’ve been able to provide to an array of clients. I started out as the social media manager for a singular company, but I’ve learned so much over the last few years. I try to do as much as I can for my clients. If I don’t offer a service they are needing, I do my best to recommend them to someone I trust!
What sets me apart is the creativity we put into our content creation. With a performance background we definitely come at social media differently than a lot of others! I try to keep things fun, and I want my clients to enjoy the process rather than stressing about the right and wrong way to approach digital marketing.
We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
I’ve dealt with a lot of adversity throughout my life, from personally to physically. I’ve had a lot of injuries as a dancer, and I think these challenges have given me the patience, dedication, and determination I need to be successful.
