Conversations with Pavan Sirona

Today we’d like to introduce you to Pavan Sirona.

Hi Pavan, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Through childhood and into adulthood I searched for explanation and experience related to why we are here and what we are really meant to be doing. Right after college I lived in Brooklyn NY and enrolled in a 2 year, in person program in NYC for Holistic Nutrition; to be a Certified Coach. There I met many spiritual people who were interested in living healthy lifestyles and they had many different beliefs-many that were new to me. These connections set me on a spiritual quest and a healing journey. I studied all different spiritual practices, religions, and yoga. I also explored energy healing techniques and became certified in several of them ( including the most well known-REIKI but also Quintessence, Barbara Brennan Techniques, All Love and more) as well as in different types of yoga. Around 2010 I also enrolled in a program for Shamanic Techniques (with Joan Forest Mage at LFAC) in Chicago. I had started seeing clients in 2007 as a Holistic Coach and added various energy healing techniques to this work over time. I am immensely grateful because I have had wonderful mentors along the way and many amazing experiences doing this work. I healed my own spirit and have been holding space offering the work to thousands of others for almost 20 years.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This is not work where you submit your resume to various locations and find the right fit. It requires you to create your own business, educate people and find and connect with your clients. Earlier on, when I started there was more stigma in connection to the work. It is working with subtle energy, the energy field and what you can’t see…it is also about working with the spirit or soul. You can be any religion and receive the work and the benefits but the rules of some religions do not align with it. Shamanism is simple, it’s a way of life that centers on the connection to all “communities,” is how my teacher explained it—there are 4 communities-self, others, spirit and nature (including flora and fauna). Today, things have shifted, people are much more open and searching for more support on their paths in relation to growth and also feeling well in a stress-driven culture. The intuitive work and energy work I facilitate focuses on getting back to basics and being in touch with your intuition and who you are.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I specialize in shamanic energy healing techniques and channeling information from spirit. Over the years I have seen many profound shifts for people as a result of this work. It is always a discovery and it’s always rewarding. I have worked in New York, Chicago and Charleston (10 years in Charleston), everywhere has been different but also an adventure. I have repeatedly received the message that this is my path and it will always provide and that has proven to be true in wonderful ways. I have written columns and articles over the years on energy work and shamanism, worked with many individuals one-on-one (this is the main way I work), taught classes and retreats and virtual groups. I am most proud of my ability to listen to intuition and guidance and allow it to change over time as I change as well.

I think my approach sets me apart in many ways. I am guided in my decisions-what I offer and how it is offered through my intuition and the space of the heart; the focus is always authenticity and service from the heart.
