Hi John, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Was working for another company in the area. went through school and got associates degree in plumbing and hvac. started with no money and a pick up truck. took the back seats out and put tools in and went to work. had no choice but to make it happen. did everything myself from answering the phones, to service to install. now have 25 employees and 15 trucks.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
has never been easy. long hard days, but wanting to provide for my family has driven me. God has definitely blessed me and helped me get to where I am today
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
we specialize in plumbing and hvac maintenance service and installation. we are a family owned business so we care about our customers, our employees, and our community. we are available 24/7 and offer everything big box stores offer but with care and attention to personal details. we also send our technicians to continued education to make sure we are up to date on new products and equipment changes in the industry
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
starting this business was a risk. I started with no money. i had to make it work. i was only making 20hr before i started it and almost no money saved up. this entire process has been a risk i have no partners and no investors. we are now building our own shop out this year and taking on the risk of owning our own commercial building
Pricing:
- we offer upfront pricing and get approval from customer before proceeding with any work
- no dispatch fees for plumbing
- only 120 per year for maintenance plan. we come out once in the spring, once in the fall for ac and heat tune ups and once a year for whole home plumbing inspection. while on this plan you receive 10% off repairs and no dispatch fees
