Hi Jim, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I started my business doing dolphin watching tours in Folly Beach. As the business grew I adddd Charleston Harbor, Sunset, and Shark Tooth Hunting island drop offs.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No. Staring a business is never easy. Learning how to promote and book trips takes time. I pride myself on customer service and providing exceptional care. Every one of my guests gave me 5 Stars and exceptional reviews. Most of my guests who book from Viator tell me they booked because of my reviews. It is still a challenge daily but one I enjoy.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’ve been in management my entire career. I’m proud of the team members I hired and promoted, how i always receive exceptional evaluations and was promoted to Director.
What do you like and dislike about the city?
We have Family and friends, great restaurants, and close to the water. Traffic is terrible.
