Today we’d like to introduce you to Jalisa Mishoe
Hi Jalisa, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
My inspiration behind wanting to open an online children’s boutique was my two kids Cameron and Chloe. I have also always had a love for fashion and playing dress up as a child. When I had my daughter in 2020, that’s when the fun really began. I was so excited to be having a daughter to play dress up and do all of the girly things. The thought was always on the back of my mind, to start an online children’s boutique. I decided one day that today is going to be the day that I start my dream business.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
So far the process has been smooth sailing. Just like any business there is good and bad days, sometimes you profit and some days not as much. It’s apart of being a business owner.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in children’s boutique clothes and accessories from sizes 12 months to size nine. Little Darling Children’s Boutique, offers boys and girls clothing and accessories. So there is a little something for everyone. The brand behind my company is affordable children’s boutique clothes. I know how expensive the cost of living is, so when I first had in mind of starting a children’s boutique that was one of my biggest goals to up keep.
How do you define success?
Success for me is knowing that I have a supportive team behind me rooting me on. My husband is my co owner, and he has been very supportive and helpful from day one. I have been blessed to have a great support system behind since staring my business. That to me means a lot and makes me feel very much successful.
