Conversations with Eleanor Haspel-Portner

Today we’d like to introduce you to Eleanor Haspel-Portner.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I grew up in Brooklyn, NY, the youngest of five children. My first memory in infancy is of seeing auras; through the years, as my psychic abilities returned, I recognized how powerfully influenced I was by knowing more than my waking consciousness knew.

Because of my other-dimensional abilities as a child, I knew that I wanted to have a Ph.D. so my work would be credible and grounded in science. I attended the University of Chicago, Department of Comparative Human Development, for my Doctorate. The department was the first interdisciplinary Social Science department in the world, and the faculty were well known names in their fields. I studied psychology, biology, anthropology, and sociology.
After completing my Ph.D. and teaching at the college level, I undertook a Post-Doctoral Clinical Internship at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital in Chicago. When I finished my training, I obtained my license as a Clinical Psychologist.

I went into Private Clinical Practice and took further training with Masters & Johnson, as a Jungian Analyst, and at the Psychoanalytic Institute. At the same time, I began to study astrology, the Kabbalistic Tree of Life, and mind/body tools.
After learning Transcendental Meditation in 1974, I began having Kundalini energy experiences. After one in 1974, during which I had an experience of all knowledge, I wrote a book called Marriage in Trouble: A Time of Decision that was published in 1976 by Nelson-Hall.

Because of my increasing psychic abilities, I studied with numerous teachers to learn to manage and control my abilities to see and know about people in my energy field and at distance. In 1977, I studied Reiki healing and became the 10th Reiki Master/Teacher in the West in 1982.

In 1996, I saw an advertisement for the Human Design System in the Mountain Astrologer magazine, and I recognized the Mandala of Synthesis (now a registered trademark of mine). I studied Human Design privately and developed a relationship with Ra Uru Hu, the messenger of the system. In 1999, Ra asked my husband, Marvin Portner, M.D., and me to validate the Human Design System scientifically. I took on the task.
I ran statistics for 30,000 cases in matched sample groups and have subsequently studied more than 15,000 Noble Energy Maps, my expansion of the Human Design System. I found that Human Design is an incomplete, faulty, and disempowering system because it is only a small snapshot of an individual’s process in the first three months of their development. My statistical work with the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences proved that the Body Energy Map is sacred geometry and factor analysis of the Tree of Life, exactly validating the Tree as a developmental model for the process of self-actualization.

My work evolved as I integrated relevant fields with Noble Energy Map knowledge. In October 2022, I realized that my job involves teaching the Four Worlds Personality Theory, which is transforming our self-perception and consciousness. I teach the Four Worlds and Noble Energy Maps, which provide clients with a detailed map of their functioning and offer insights into decision-making timing and energy processing.

Since 2017, I have written eight best-sellers and have two more books about to be released.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
My family of origin was lower middle class, and my older siblings did not share my sensibilities or spirituality. I was just fifteen when my Father died; because of tension among my siblings, I felt alone and very scared. I mustered my inner will and strength and came through that time determined for success, independence, and integrity.
I knew that to achieve my goals, I would need a Ph.D. I set my intentions, and I read Jung extensively, wrote a lot of poetry, and started journaling.

I got married to my first husband at age twenty and had my children while in graduate school and teaching. My first husband and I were well matched while we were students. However, when we both graduated, our values diverged. He was focused on achieving status and making a lot of money. I was focused on spiritual integrity and self-actualization, trusting that abundance would come. It took me two and a half years to decide that I had to leave the marriage so we could both live without compromising our core selves.

The five years I spent as a Single Mother, starting a career and private practice, were challenging and required a great deal of inner resilience and strength. It was a time when I learned deeply about myself and my values. I began Transcendental Meditation in January 1974, and it changed my life. I started experiencing Kundalini phenomena, and my psychic abilities returned, causing me to lose balance for a while. During this period, I delved deeply into the study of consciousness and learned to control my psychic abilities, allowing me to turn them on and off at will.

In 1977, I moved with my children to Pacific Palisades, California, because it “felt like home.” The move meant letting go of a highly successful practice on Michigan Avenue and starting a new practice in California. I leaped.

By 1978, my practice was thriving, and I loved my work. Then, the Voice of God told me to go to India to Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh (Osho). Because I listen to the “Voice,” I arranged to go to India. On August 14, 1978, on the day and time my mentor astrologer Katherine de Jersey told me I would meet someone, I met Marvin, my soul mate. Marvin and I lived within a mile of each other in Pacific Palisades but had never met. We have been together since the day we met and married a year later.
In recent years, we had to leave our home in Pacific Palisades because it became an unsafe place to live. We moved to Mount Pleasant, SC, and began building a new life, which we have done joyfully.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
After getting my Ph.D. and license as a clinical psychologist, I went into private practice and have continued in that regard throughout my career. Because of my curiosity and dedication to my clients and work, I have always been an explorer of consciousness. When I met the Human Design System in 1996, I recognized it and knew it had secrets hidden within its structure.

Because of my diligence and studiousness with Human Design, Ra Uru Hu asked me to document it scientifically. I found integrity in the sacred geometry and the astrological components and their relationship to the I-Ching (I studied the I-Ching as a Jungian trainee). Using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), I found that HD is an incomplete and disempowering system. It fails to consider the postnatal period of critical human development, and it does not read the layers of consciousness coded into the system. I developed and have the registered trademark for Noble Energy Maps® and the Mandala of Synthesis®.

The statistics proved the Four Worlds Personality theory, which is verified in the Noble Energy Maps®. I teach and coach using the Four Worlds and the transformations in my clients as they awaken to the truth of the OneSelf, which is amazing and very exciting.

In October 2022, “God” told me to go public. I did, and my work has expanded exponentially with best sellers every time I release a book. It is exciting and essential work for humanity and consciousness.

What were you like growing up?
I was always strong-willed. My first infancy memory is of seeing auras. I struggled as a child because the adults around me did not always like my truth-telling Sagittarian speech. My Father died when I was fifteen, and it shook my very foundation.
As a result of my Father’s death, I found my inner strength and determinatio,n and I followed my inner light to shift my emotions into action and love.

At age seven, I remember sitting in lotus posture in my room, meditating and pretending to be in the Andes. I love the books in our basement on the Incas and the pyramids, and I read voraciously despite my learning issues and dyslexia.

Also, at age seven, I had polio. I was in quarantine for ten days, and during that time, I had several out-of-body experiences. I also suspect that I was abducted by ETs.

After the polio experience, I became more aware of my inner self and stood up for myself, despite any opposition, when I knew what I needed. My parents were a great blessing because they always trusted my judgment and deferred to me for my direction and integrity.
My older sisters were teachers for me, and I was always close to them growing up. As adults, we are scattered geographically, and that has shifted our relationships.

On a personality level, I am dedicated to truth and live my values. When I moved to California from Chicago, I decided to work from home so my patients could see that I lived as I told them it was possible to live. They saw me as a parent and as a wife, as well as a professional with the utmost integrity and ethics. I have been a role model for my clients and have stayed in contact with some of my earliest clients.
