Conversations with Andrew Krull

Today we’d like to introduce you to Andrew Krull.

Hi Andrew, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have over thirty years experience in the restaurant industry , I’ve had 10 different restaurants and two food trucks, I reopened Veg -out to get back to my core belief that the key to health is a vegetarian diet and herbs. I have a master’s degree in western herbal medicine and nutrition, the cafe also has an herbal side to it. I love to create vegetarian food and make people happy threw eating great food!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
When I first Opened Veg-Out! in 2023 I had a great following and people would drive from all over to enjoy the food and herbs. I found a property out of state that I wanted move to to grow herbs and make my herbal business my focus. so I sold Veg-Out and moved . unfortunately the person closed quickly not having the experience to run it. So reopening has been a challenge to get the word out that I’m running again and gaining the trust and reputation back. slowly folks are finding that out. I also had to reequipped the place because it was empty.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
The ability to create great dishes and 5 star reviews at all my cafes. my herbal products have a great reputation too. I’m the only true vegetarian cafe from Columbia to Augusta.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Thirty years experience, true knowledge in food and herbs.
