Today we’d like to introduce you to Andréa Christine Melone.
Andréa Christine, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I grew up in New Jersey and moved to China after college, where I taught English and studied Mandarin. I’ve been lucky enough to be able to follow my curiosity to many different countries and cultures, and those experiences deepened my appreciation for the shared rhythms that connect and sustain humanity. I found that every culture had different words for the same thing: energy, life force, flow; and I was both inspired and intrigued by those common threads.
When I returned to the States, I landed in the fast-paced world of commercial banking in NYC, smack in the center of the proverbial rat race. It taught me a lot, but left me feeling deeply unfulfilled. So I followed my inner compass toward movement and music. I dove into everything NYC had to offer: DJ courses, classical guitar, belly dancing, yoga, breathwork, crystals, you name it. That chapter helped me feel more liberated, creative, and most importantly, connected with different and colorful communities.
My more introspective side was exploring consciousness studies and scientific theories about our connected universe, especially where science and spirituality intersect. That curiosity eventually led me to an opportunity to support operations at an R&D lab in Orange County, California. As fate would have it, everything aligned… and off I went.
In California, I began weaving my passions into my work more intentionally: sound, energy, frequency, and movement. What started as hobbies like hosting sound baths, DJing events, exploring ancient, megalitic sites gradually became central to my life. I realized I wasn’t here to choose between the technical and the mystical. I was here to bridge them.
I’ve had the privilege of working with visionary thinkers and companies across wellness, advertising, tech, and AI, gaining hands-on experience in marketing, operations, and project management, and building a solid foundation in systems thinking, creative strategy, and execution. My husband, David, brings complementary expertise in design, UI/UX, and media creation, and together we often collaborate on projects that blend form, function, and intention.
For me, it’s always been about the end-user’s experience — whether I’m shaping a product, organizing a team’s action plan, hosting a sound bath, or designing a community event. People and connection are the throughline.
In team settings, I’ve found that clarity and cohesion lead to real progress. When everyone is aligned and flowing together, the customer feels it — and I love supporting that process. I often step in to bridge gaps, streamline communication, and help create a coherent flow so teams can move forward with confidence and purpose. During sound baths, it’s no different — I’m passionate about creating thoughtful, beautiful experiences that help people reconnect with their own inner wisdom. My goal is always the same: for everyone to leave brighter and more tuned in than when they arrived.
Now newly settled in Summerville, South Carolina with my husband and growing family, we’re loving life in the Lowcountry. While we continue to support our California clients remotely, we’re also eager to plant new collaborative seeds here. I’m especially excited to connect with local businesses and creatives to co-create nourishing, magnetic experiences that invite people back to themselves and to one another.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
The most profound challenges I’ve faced have come recently, through David’s unexpected health crisis and my own journey into pregnancy. He faced a debilitating condition last summer that shook the foundation of our daily life, amidst our last 3 years of trying to get pregnant. It was a lot — physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Now, a year later, and thanks to the amazing people at MUSC, David is well. And even better, we have a baby girl on the way this Christmas!
Those seasons taught me that real wellness isn’t something you just talk about or schedule in. It’s something you live through. Moment by moment, breath by breath. I had to lean on the same tools I offer to others: breath, movement, sound. They became my medicine, my grounding, my reminder that I was still here, still capable of anchoring peace and clarity in the middle of chaos.
These experiences gave me a deeper respect for what it truly means to invest in health, not just as a lifestyle, and not just physically, but as a full-spectrum commitment to body, mind, and spirit.
And while those chapters were incredibly challenging, they brought clarity around what truly matters, and the kind of support I want to offer others. At the heart of it: compassion and presence. Because let’s be honest, the human experience can get weird sometimes, and we all need spaces and community that help us feel a little more grounded, seen, and supported along the way.
Supporting transformational work with others has challenged me to live it more deeply myself, not just in calm, controlled settings, but in the messy, real-life moments. Breath, movement, sound are not just tools I share, they’re the ones I return to again and again. Each time life stretches me, I’m reminded of the power in these simple practices. They ground me, realign me, and reconnect me to what’s true. And for that reason, I feel incredibly grateful, not only to lean on them myself, but to share them with others in ways that feel meaningful, accessible, and real.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I wear a few hats: I’m a sound healer, DJ, a behind-the-scenes force for a wide mix of projects. I offer immersive wellness experiences rooted in breath, movement, and frequency, while also consulting with companies on marketing, storytelling, product strategy, and operations. From early-stage startups to AI-driven tech firms, I help visionary ideas become tangible, scalable, and human-centered.
What sets my work apart is the integration. I don’t separate my creativity, my intuition, or my technical skillset. They all show up at the table. Whether I’m designing a sound bath, building a brand campaign, or helping shape a user experience, I’m asking: How can this be more aligned, more honest, more authentic, more connected?
I’m most proud of the spaces I’ve helped build — not just physical spaces for events, but energetic ones: rooms where people feel safe to rest (or dance!) and reconnect with themselves to access their own insight and magic.
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
What matters most to me is integrity: how we show up, what we follow through on, and how our values are expressed not just in words, but in actions.
To me, integrity isn’t about being perfect. It’s about being consistent, grounded, and intentional. It’s how you treat people when no one’s watching. It’s honoring your word, your energy, your creativity, and applying the same care to a professional project as you do to a relationship, or even your own self-care.
Experiencing a lack of integrity in certain environments made it clear just how foundational it is for me. It’s become a pillar of my personal life and my work. When energy is off or promises don’t align with actions, everything suffers. That contrast made me deeply committed to creating spaces and collaborations that feel clean, clear, and supportive. Because integrity doesn’t just impact outcomes; it shapes the entire experience.
At its core, integrity is tied to authenticity. If we’re not being honest with ourselves about who we are and what we need, it becomes nearly impossible to act in alignment. Pretending to be something we’re not may get us through the short term, but it’s unsustainable and it disconnects us from others and from ourselves. Integrity, to me, is about wholeness. And that’s what I try to hold space for in every part of my work.
That’s a big part of why I love offering sound baths. It’s a place where people are invited to just be. No performance, no pressure, just presence.
I often tell people to think of it as a “magical nap.” Come as you are. Lay down. Breathe. Let the sound do the work. There’s something beautiful in the simplicity of giving people a safe, intentional space to rest, reset, and remember their own inner rhythm.
