Community Highlights: Meet Ryan Biddulph of Blogging From Paradise

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Biddulph.

Hi Ryan, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I began blogging in 2008 to build a location-independent business online.

I previously worked as a security guard involving long hours and little vacation time.

Blogging seemed like a fun way to help people and travel the world.

The journey was difficult at times but I persevered.

I eventually became a pro blogger who guides others to live their dreams through blogging.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road became smooth after some bumps along the way.

I encountered mental blocks around becoming an entrepreneur.

I also discovered that the world is not engineered practically for a digital nomad.

Facing, feeling then looking past my fears was not comfortable but opened me up to opportunities for growth.

I experienced that everything happens inside of the mind even though it seems to be happening out there in the world (it’s a clever trick of the mind).

Practically-speaking, as I conquered fears I followed simple steps consistently to build my blog and break free of the sedentary nature of the world.

I experienced greater blogging success and also a freeing life as a full-time digital nomad not bound by time or location.

We’ve been impressed with Blogging From Paradise, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I guide bloggers to retire to a life of island hopping through smart blogging.

I specialize in the mindset aspect of blogging. Working mind training into practical blogging tips empowers bloggers to overcome common obstacles hamstringing most beginner to even veteran bloggers.

I deviate from the blogging herd a wee bit by making my blog the source of my success, not Google, an email list or social media for that matter. I view these as channels leading to my blog; not the other way around.

Although I integrate myself heavily into my brand to AI-proof the site, I genuinely live to serve. I am here to help.
