Today we’d like to introduce you to Narmeen Abojamoos.
Hi Narmeen, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey with House of Pizza Clinton has been one of faith, resilience, and community. What started as a small family dream became a true local landmark — a place where families, students, and friends gather to share good food and even better memories.
But our story hasn’t been easy. In 2024, a devastating fire destroyed everything we had built. In one night, years of hard work, love, and dedication turned to ashes. It was one of the hardest moments of my life — but it was also the beginning of something greater.
Instead of giving up, I made a promise to myself, my family, and this city: We will rise again. Every day after that, I worked tirelessly — rebuilding from scratch, redesigning every corner, and pouring my heart into every decision.
When we reopened our doors in 2025, it wasn’t just about serving pizza again. It was about hope, strength, and community. Seeing our customers return, hearing their laughter, and watching people fill the restaurant with life again — that’s when I knew we did more than rebuild a business. We rebuilt a home for our community.
Today, House of Pizza Clinton stands stronger than ever — a symbol of what can happen when you refuse to give up, even when everything seems lost.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been anything but smooth. There were moments I wanted to give up — times when the challenges felt endless and the weight of responsibility was overwhelming. The biggest test came when our restaurant was destroyed by fire. Overnight, everything we had built — every memory, every dream — was gone.
But that’s where true strength is born. Instead of letting it break me, I let it build me. I had to rebuild not just a restaurant, but hope — from the ground up. There were delays, endless permits, financial setbacks, and emotional exhaustion. Yet every obstacle reminded me why I started in the first place.
I learned that success isn’t about how perfectly the road is paved — it’s about how many times you rise after being knocked down. Every scar from that journey is now part of my strength. And today, when I see families smiling inside our new restaurant, I know every sleepless night and every tear was worth it
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
House of Pizza Clinton isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a story of community, resilience, and heart. Located in the heart of downtown Clinton, South Carolina, we specialize in handcrafted pizzas made with passion, fresh ingredients, and a commitment to quality that goes far beyond the plate.
What truly sets us apart is that we don’t just serve food — we serve connection. Every slice, every dish, every smile is part of something bigger. After a devastating fire in 2024, we rebuilt from the ground up — not just the walls, but the spirit of a place that means so much to our town. We came back stronger, prouder, and more determined than ever to be a symbol of hope and togetherness for our community.
Our signature 17-inch large pizza, the biggest in Laurens County, represents exactly what our brand stands for — more value, more flavor, and more heart. We’re proud to be known as a place where families gather, students celebrate, and locals feel at home.
At House of Pizza Clinton, we believe that food has the power to bring people together, to heal, and to inspire. What we built isn’t just a business — it’s a legacy of love, perseverance, and community support.
Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
For me, finding a mentor has never been about titles or status — it’s about energy, values, and real experience. The best mentors aren’t always the ones with the biggest success stories; they’re the ones who remind you that failure is part of growth and who push you to believe in yourself when you start to doubt.
My advice is simple: look for people who inspire you not by what they say, but by how they live. Surround yourself with doers — people who show up, who care, and who have walked through the fire and still choose to lift others.
Networking, for me, has always been about connection over competition. Some of my greatest lessons came from small conversations — with other business owners, loyal customers, and even my own team. Everyone has something to teach if you’re willing to listen.
The truth is, mentors don’t just shape your career — they shape your mindset. And when you lead with authenticity, gratitude, and heart, the right people will always find their way into your path.
