Today we’d like to introduce you to Kyle Hulbert.
Hi Kyle, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
I grew up in the family construction business, where hard work was the baseline and pushing through was just what you did. I learned responsibility early, learned how to build, how to solve problems, how to carry weight. But while I was helping build homes, my own body was quietly breaking down. I started getting sick in ways I couldn’t explain: brain fog, crushing fatigue, anxiety, just not feeling like myself. I saw multiple doctors, ran test after test, and kept hearing the same thing: “Everything looks normal.” But I knew it wasn’t. It’s hard to describe how frustrating it is when you feel terrible but can’t get answers.
Eventually, I uncovered that mercury toxicity was playing a major role in what I was experiencing. Around that same time, I met Dr. Benjamin Kosubevsky. He didn’t brush it off. He focused on helping my body detox, recover, and rebuild in a way I hadn’t experienced before. As I started healing, something shifted inside me. I realized how many people are walking around sick, dismissed, and stuck, just like I was. That experience changed the trajectory of my life. What began as one of the hardest seasons I’ve ever faced became the catalyst for my purpose. I partnered with Dr. Kosubevsky to co-found The Longevity Centers of America so we could create a place where people don’t get told “you’re fine” when they know they’re not. My pain became my passion, building centers that help people reclaim their health, their energy, and their future.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
The biggest challenge we faced when starting the clinic was simple in theory but incredibly difficult in practice: how do we make life-changing integrative treatments truly affordable without cutting corners? I came from a construction background, where I was responsible for purchasing — negotiating contracts, comparing suppliers, analyzing every material line by line. So I applied that same mindset to medicine. I broke down every ingredient, every component, every disposable, every piece of equipment. I compared vendors relentlessly. I looked for quality first, but I refused to accept inflated pricing just because “that’s what the industry charges.” We built our pricing model from the ground up the way you’d build a house — cost analysis first, efficiency second, margin discipline third. That allowed us to dramatically lower prices while still maintaining high standards of care.
The second major obstacle has been education. Most people don’t even know what’s possible when it comes to optimizing or restoring their health. They’ve been told to manage symptoms, not address root causes. So beyond building clinics, we’ve had to build awareness — explaining what integrative medicine actually is, who it’s for, and what kinds of problems it can help address. Changing pricing is one battle. Changing perception is another. We’re doing both at the same time.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about The Longevity Centers of America?
The Longevity Centers of America is a purpose-driven health organization founded to rethink and redefine what modern healthcare should be — accessible, proactive, and transformative. Rooted in integrative and regenerative medicine principles, LCOA combines advanced diagnostic tools, evidence-based therapies, and individualized care plans to help people identify and address the root causes of chronic health issues rather than just manage symptoms. From metabolic optimization and detoxification support to hormone balance and personalized treatment protocols, our mission is to make effective, life-changing care attainable for more people, not just a privileged few. At LCOA, we’re committed to educating our communities, innovating pricing models to reduce barriers to treatment, and empowering individuals to reclaim their vitality and long-term health.
What does success mean to you?
Success, to me, isn’t just revenue or scale. It’s resetting the pricing standard in the integrative health industry. For too long, life-changing treatments have been positioned as luxury services, accessible only to the wealthy or the desperate. I’ve seen firsthand how transformative these therapies can be, and I believe they shouldn’t be reserved for the top 1%. Success means building a model that proves you can deliver cutting-edge, root-cause care at prices that normal families can actually afford, without sacrificing quality, compliance, or sustainability. It means forcing the market to adjust because we demonstrated that margins don’t have to be predatory to be profitable. If we can make regenerative and integrative medicine both accessible and scalable, and other clinics have to follow that pricing shift, that’s success. It’s not just building clinics, it’s changing the economics of the industry so more people get access to care that truly changes their lives.
