Today we’d like to introduce you to John Nussbaum.
Hi John, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started out learning how to fix, or trying to fix different things around the house when I was little, my brothers started fixing different devices for different family members and friends and building their own computers. I was always fascinated with how technology worked. I took apart radios, rc cars, pretty much anything that was broken i wanted to fix. I started by buying used netbooks that were not working that people would sell, then I bought the parts to repair them then sell them refurbished. Fast travel to my last highschool year I got the choice to go to a Career Center and take CompTIA A+ class for the whole year where I learned way more about computers and technology I didn’t know about, and they had a whole closet full of old computers they didn’t know if they worked, so they let me look at them all and I got most of them to work after swapping different parts and troubleshooting them. While that was going on I would help friends with their tech issues and work on our old computer my mom had, and built my own computer. After I graduated in 2017 I started my own business in 2018 doing fixes on tvs, printers, phones and computers. I love helping anyone I can with a fair price.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
I would say the biggest struggle is getting the finances and keeping up with advertising.
We’ve been impressed with John’s PC Repair , but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I specialize in troubleshooting and resolving software and hardware issues on pretty much any computer or device. I’m always trying to be honest and caring about everything I do, and I’m reasonably priced. I love helping people with the issues they have and I’m very patient and persistent when it comes to solving problems.
Before we let you go, we’ve got to ask if you have any advice for those who are just starting out?
Don’t fall for the get rich quick things it’s never been true, it’s a slow process but if you push through it its worth it in the long run.
