Community Highlights: Meet Christina Pitcher of Christina Pitcher Creative

Today we’d like to introduce you to Christina Pitcher

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
During my sophomore year of college, I started a business creating handmade shirts. Marketing quickly became my passion, especially with the advent of social media at the time. Even while working entry-level jobs, I couldn’t stop freelancing and kept “accidentally” picking up clients. After a fulfilling in-house marketing role, I realized I wanted more time with my daughter and a broader creative scope. So, in March 2024, I launched my own business to embrace both my family and dreams of being a small business owner.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
I wouldn’t say it’s been smooth sailing all the way, but I am lucky that I haven’t had any major hiccups (yet!). However, I’m quickly learning that as a solopreneur, time is your most valuable resource. At this point I would say balancing my time has been my biggest struggle.

As you know, we’re big fans of Christina Pitcher Creative. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
My business is called Christina Pitcher Creative. I’m a content marketing strategist who specializes in social media, email marketing, and SEO. What sets me apart in my field is that while I am a creative at heart, I’m very data-driven and analytical. I also take pride in my ability to stay up-to-date on best practices. Digital marketing is ever-changing and you must adapt if you want to be successful. I’m most proud of how my work consistently helps clients achieve and surpass their goals.

Is there something surprising that you feel even people who know you might not know about?
I do most of my creative work at night and handle my office work/more straightforward tasks during my daytime office hours.
