Today we’d like to introduce you to Brooke Daniels.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I’m Brooke Daniels, entrepreneur, community builder, and founder of BetterHER—a wellness brand dedicated to helping women build a lifestyle they can actually maintain.” Like a lot of women, I spent years building everyone else’s life while putting myself last. I’ve worked in corporate America, managed teams, raised four children, owned businesses, and helped entrepreneurs build their brands. Through every season of my life, one thing stayed the same—I loved building communities and helping people become the best version of themselves.
As I continued growing, I realized my purpose was bigger than helping people build profitable brands. I wanted to build something that changed lives from the inside out. That’s how BetterHER was born.
BetterHER started as a simple wellness walk because I wanted women to have a place where they could show up for themselves without judgment. I invited women to walk, connect, and hold each other accountable. What started as one walk quickly grew into a thriving community of nearly 100 women in about 30 days. That’s when I knew I wasn’t just building a walking club—I was building a wellness brand.
Today, BetterHER is growing into a wellness company focused on helping women maintain healthy lifestyles long after the motivation fades. We’re expanding beyond weekly walks into wellness events, accountability programs, partnerships, experiences, and products that make wellness feel like a lifestyle instead of a temporary challenge.
This is only the beginning. My vision is for BetterHER to become one of the most recognized wellness brands in the country and create a movement that reminds women they deserve to invest in themselves just as much as they invest in everyone else
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but I think that’s what makes this journey so rewarding. One of the biggest challenges has been building something people don’t fully understand yet. BetterHER isn’t just a walking club—it’s the beginning of a wellness brand. Sometimes people only see the walks, but they don’t see the vision behind it.
Building a community from the ground up has required a lot of faith, consistency, and showing up even when nobody is watching. There have been days when I questioned if I was moving too fast or dreaming too big, but every time another woman tells me BetterHER helped her start putting herself first again, it reminds me exactly why I started.
Another challenge has been wearing so many hats. As a founder, you’re the visionary, the marketer, the event planner, the community manager, and the problem solver all at the same time. There isn’t a blueprint for building the wellness brand I see in my head, so I’m creating it one step at a time.
I’ve learned that challenges aren’t signs to stop—they’re proof that you’re building something worth fighting for. Every obstacle has made me a stronger leader, and every challenge has pushed BetterHER closer to becoming the brand I know it can be.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about BetterHER?
BetterHER is a wellness brand created for women who are ready to stop living in the cycle of starting over. While many wellness programs focus on helping women lose weight, our mission is different—we teach women how to maintain their weight loss, maintain healthy habits, and maintain themselves long after the transformation.
At BetterHER, we believe the hardest part isn’t losing the weight—it’s becoming the woman who can keep the results. That’s why everything we do is centered around building sustainable lifestyles instead of quick fixes. We help women create routines, accountability, confidence, and discipline they can carry for the rest of their lives.
We started with community wellness walks because movement brings people together, but BetterHER is growing into much more than that. We’re building a wellness community where women can experience wellness together through fitness events, wellness retreats, workshops, accountability groups, social experiences, and partnerships that inspire healthier living.
One of the things I’m most proud of is the community we’ve built. In just about 30 days, BetterHER grew to nearly 100 women who chose to start showing up for themselves. That showed me women aren’t just looking for another workout plan—they’re looking for belonging, accountability, and a lifestyle they can actually sustain.
My vision is for BetterHER to become one of the leading wellness brands in the country by creating experiences that help women maintain not only their weight loss, but also their confidence, discipline, and overall well-being. I want BetterHER to be the brand women think of when they’re ready to stop chasing temporary results and start building a lifestyle that lasts.
What makes you happy?
What makes me happiest is watching women become the version of themselves they thought they lost. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a woman start believing in herself again, showing up consistently, smiling more, feeling confident in her body, and realizing she’s capable of so much more than she gave herself credit for.
That’s exactly why I created BetterHER. It’s not just about maintaining weight loss—it’s about helping women maintain the confidence, discipline, and healthy lifestyle they’ve worked so hard to build. I believe every woman deserves a community that reminds her she doesn’t have to do it alone.
Outside of BetterHER, I genuinely enjoy creating experiences that bring people together. Whether it’s a wellness walk, an event, or simply seeing women connect and encourage one another, that’s what fills my cup. Knowing that something I created is helping women choose themselves again is the greatest reward I could ask for.
