Hi Ashley, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I first had the idea for Magnolia Magic Co. in the summer of 2024. I have always loved performing, and the stories and characters of fairytales have captured my heart since I was a child. I slowly started gathering costumes, building the processes, and crafting the website and marketing materials. After launching our website in January of 2025, I started auditioning performers and building the “Princess Posse” to incorporate a variety of characters – and we’re always growing! We attended our first event in March of 2025 and have been booking other events and parties since then.
Something like Magnolia Magic Co. has the capacity to make amazing memories for a lot of children – it is something I certainly would have loved as a child. My goal is to bring those special moments to as many families in the Midlands as possible while also providing an exciting and rewarding experience for my performers.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As a new company, I definitely still have much to learn. However, I have been blown away by the response from performers and families alike. The performers have been so excited and supportive, sharing the opportunity with their friends and helping me prepare for events. I am looking forward to continuing to market to families and connecting with other similar companies across the country to learn more about how they operate and achieve success!

Magnolia Magic Co. provides top-quality party and event entertainment, featuring beloved fairytale characters who enchant guests of all ages. Our brand is centered on the magic, fun, and whimsy of princess characters. I wanted it to feel very girly and sweet while appealing to customers’ inner child. When interacting with MMC characters, you can expect them to be dressed beautifully, fully in character, and sharing lots of smiles! What are your plans for the future?
As the company continues to grow, I am looking forward to adding new characters (stay tuned on our website and social media!) and expanding the Princess Posse to include more amazing performers. We also have several events coming up that I am super excited about – namely, Princess Knight with the Columbia Fireflies (May 31) and the Midlands Family Expo (June 1).
