Check Out Ron2Riches’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ron2Riches.

Hi Ron2Riches, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I began my journey five years ago in Charlotte, NC, when I launched my very first podcast, The Lunch Meet. The concept was simple but meaningful: have lunch with everyday people doing extraordinary things, and share their life journeys and blueprints for success. Funny enough, the lunch part never actually happened—LOL!

Armed with a basic Blue mic, a laptop, and GarageBand, I took the leap. But I didn’t do it alone. First, I had to build up the courage. Then came the support of one of my amazing friends, Bri, who co-produced the very first episode with me titled, Swipe Right vs. Real Conversations. We discussed the dating scene back in 2018, and from that moment on, everything started to fall into place.

As the episodes rolled out, the show started gaining attention. Guest requests started flooding in from all directions, and eventually, The Lunch Meet podcast climbed into the top 10% of shows on my hosting platform.

What started as just an idea—manifested and brought to life with support, passion, and consistency—has led me to where I am today: living and creating in New York City. I now work in television, film, and talk show production, collaborating with incredible talent across NYC.

Recently, I launched a new platform, Talking Riches, a show dedicated to spotlighting emerging creatives and talents. It’s all about sharing powerful stories and giving rising voices the stage they deserve.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The journey so far has been anything but ordinary—and yet, I’d still call it a smooth one. Let me explain why. Every obstacle, challenge, or setback that could’ve derailed someone else’s path, I chose to see as a lesson—an opportunity to grow.

Where some view failure as the end, I see it as a classroom. Every misstep has taught me something new and sharpened my ability to move forward smarter, stronger, and more prepared. Sure, we all try to avoid challenges—but what’s the thrill of climbing a mountain if you don’t run into a few mountain bears along the way?

I’ve been fortunate to have an incredible support system throughout this journey. My BRIC production team, my cousin Abdullah Freeman, Rajen Persaud, and many others haven’t just given me the confidence to aim high—they’ve pushed me to chase excellence one small step at a time. They remind me that the road may not be perfect, but the growth in every twist and turn is what makes the journey worthwhile.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I specialize in producing in-depth interviews that dive into the heart of a person’s story. I have a natural ability to create a safe space where anyone—regardless of their background—feels comfortable opening up and sharing their truth. It’s a gift I don’t take lightly.

Behind the scenes, I’m a connector. I genuinely love building relationships with like-minded people and creating opportunities for others to meet, collaborate, and bring something powerful to life. Whether it’s producing, storytelling, or operating the camera, I approach each project with creativity and intention.

Right now, I’m honing my skills as a camera operator, with my sights set on becoming a great director one day. I’m in no rush to master everything at once—my focus is on mastering each step of the journey with purpose and care.

One of my proudest accomplishments is staying committed to the small wins, both personally and academically. This May, I’ll be graduating with my Bachelor’s degree—the first in my family to do so. It’s a milestone that means the world to me, and I hope it inspires those around me to chase their own educational and personal goals.

What sets me apart is simple: I’m me. It might sound cliché, but in a world where so many are trying to be someone else, I believe our greatest superpower is our individuality. We were each given something unique by God—something no one else can replicate. I truly believe everyone is gifted in their own way, and the key to unlocking it starts with growing from within.

We love surprises, fun facts and unexpected stories. Is there something you can share that might surprise us?
Most people know that when I say I’m going to do something, I mean it—and I follow through. Whether it’s an idea, a commitment, or a goal, I bring it to life with relentless drive and determination. I’m not just passionate about achieving my own dreams; I genuinely love helping others reach theirs too. Empowering people and watching them grow is one of the most fulfilling parts of my journey.
