Today we’d like to introduce you to Peyton Real.
Hi Peyton, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I’ve always been interested in photography. I used to steal my mom’s blackberry when I was little to take photos and make little videos. When I was 17 I started to focus on cinematography and I began asking why movies look the way they do, that’s when I realized I should practice photography to really hone my skills with lighting and composition.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s honestly been a very smooth learning process, the more pictures you take the more you learn what you need to change.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I’m a digital print specialist. Basically I print out artwork for menus and business cards. It’s really neat looking at professional photography all day long it has become a source of inspiration in my own work.
What does success mean to you?
To me success is being in a place where I’m able to do what I love and not worry about the money.
