Today we’d like to introduce you to Nikki Fain.
Hi Nikki, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey into entrepreneurship began in the fall of 2022, right after I stepped away from my 9-5 of seven years. It was a big leap, made even bigger by the fact that I had just welcomed my second baby into the world! But even in the chaos of new motherhood and building a business from scratch, I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be.
BlakeleeCo was born from my desire to support small business owners with the behind-the-scenes magic that keeps things running smoothly. What started as a Virtual Assistant business quickly evolved as I discovered my passion (and knack!) for project management, systems + marketing—and today, I get to help business owners turn their big ideas into action plans they can actually breathe through while scaling their businesses.
I’m a proud wife of almost six years and mama to two sweet toddlers (both under five), and when I’m not deep in ClickUp boards, content calendar or cheering on my clients, you’ll probably find me shopping, pampering myself, or organizing literally anything. (Give me a label maker and a messy drawer, and I’m in heaven.)
Oh—and if it’s pink, sparkly, or beach-inspired? You know I’m all about it.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t always been a smooth road—what journey worth taking ever is? Starting BlakeleeCo while welcoming my second child was beautiful and exciting, but also incredibly challenging. I was balancing newborn naps with client calls, and navigating the learning curves of both motherhood and entrepreneurship at the same time.
There were moments of doubt, days where everything felt messy, and times when I questioned if I was doing enough—for my family, my clients, or myself. But each challenge helped me grow, get clearer on my purpose, and strengthen my systems (and mindset!) in ways I never expected.
One of the biggest struggles has been learning how to wear all the hats—mom, wife, business owner—and still make space for me. But that’s also where I’ve found my rhythm, and it’s why I’m so passionate about helping others find clarity, too. I truly believe that even in the messy moments, there’s magic waiting to be uncovered.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
At BlakeleeCo, I offer Project and Social Media Consulting for small business owners who are ready to scale with intention and clarity. I specialize in helping service-based businesses take their big ideas and turn them into structured, strategic action plans.
From managing launches and streamlining systems to mapping out content strategies that actually feel doable, I provide the support they need to stop spinning their wheels and start making confident progress. I’m the person they call when they want to stop juggling all the things and finally move forward with focus.
What I’m most proud of is how I’ve built a business that’s rooted in heart and strategy. I started BlakeleeCo during a wildly full season of life, and today I get to help other business owners find their footing and thrive—even in the busy seasons.
What sets me apart? I bring both structure and soul. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all advice—I meet each client where they are, build out custom plans that match their goals, and bring the calm, creative energy they didn’t even know they needed.
