Hi Mel, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I started in radio. I migrated into event management and MC.. I was ask to DJ a wedding for a family member and from there, we expanded into full DJ services. We strive to be the best and continued to grow into one of the top rated in the market. When I got serious about the business, I researched the top DJ’s in major markets around the U.S. I studied what they offered and we built upon that.
WE are proud to have one of the largest music collections in the southeast. Our DMX theme and dance-floor lighting is second to none. WE cater to mid – upscale weddings and events. WE live by our reviews.
We are on the preferred list to a number of venues around the CSRA.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Our moto ‘Always prepared’. We always have a back-up system in case of emergency. We had a wedding in 2024 during Helene the power went down. WE pulled our van up and hooked up a power converter and keep the music and lighting going, even when the facility lost power.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
WE are about detail. Our mission, ‘the bride have no worries about what will happen at her wedding.’ We offered DJ’s, MC, Officiant and lighting services. Again, we are about detail.
What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
We are known by our word and our work. That is important to us!
