Hi Hamilton, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey into photography and videography started when I was just a kid. I was always interested in cameras and loved taking pictures with anything I could get my hands on. As I grew up, this passion evolved into a love for videography, and I began documenting my travels. Those early travel videos opened doors to some amazing opportunities in the music and hospitality industries.
I eventually discovered my love for weddings. Weddings hold a special place in my heart because they allow me to capture the depth of emotions like no other. There’s an authentic and raw quality to these moments that I find incredibly inspiring. My style always aims to be timeless while reflecting the relaxed and fun side of life. I love getting to know the couples and creating a visual story that represents them best.
At Studio Lost Boy, I’m lucky to work with two fantastic photographers and videographers who share my vision. Recently, we’ve started offering product marketing and social media management, which has been an exciting new chapter for us. Looking ahead, we’re eager to continue focusing on weddings and collaborating with innovative local businesses to keep pushing creative boundaries.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been smooth sailing. The first couple of projects I was hired for required adapting on the spot when gear didn’t work as I expected or the setting didn’t meet my expectations. One of the first weddings we shot my gimbal completely stopped working so we had to pivot and get creative with how we shot the rest of the day. These experiences have taught me to be ready to adapt on the spot and to always have a few backup plans.

Studio Lost Boy is a full suite creative studio specializing in cinematography, photography and graphic design. I’m passionate about creating visual stories that resonate on a personal level. Whether it’s developing a brand’s visual strategy or capturing the love of a couple on their wedding day, our goal is to create a innovative story your audience is drawn to.
What sets us apart is our commitment to creating a narrative that’s as unique as the couples and brands we work with. We take the time to get to know our clients, understanding their personalities and strengths so that their visual story reflects what makes them great. We utilize the power of digital 4k and drone footage as well as the magic of film photography and super 8 videography. This personal touch, combined with a keen eye for authentic moments, is what I believe makes our work stand out.
I’m incredibly proud of the reactions we’ve received from the couples and brands we’ve worked with and those sentiments are what drives our business forward.

I love downtown Charleston’s architecture the most and traffic the least.
