Check Out Courtney Thomas’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Courtney Thomas.

Hi Courtney, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My journey didn’t start in entrepreneurship. However, it started in service. I earned my bachelor’s in social work and later my master’s in counseling because I’ve always had a heart for helping people. I began my career in corporate America, doing meaningful work, but I quickly realized that while I was making an impact, I wasn’t being compensated in a way that reflected my value or the lifestyle I wanted for my family. That realization pushed me to explore other opportunities, and that’s when I was introduced to the financial services industry. I started part-time, simply looking to create some additional income. But what I found was much bigger than that! It was an opportunity to truly empower families financially while also building something of my own. As I stayed consistent, developed my skills, and committed to personal growth, my part-time income eventually surpassed my full-time job. That’s when I made the decision to go all in. Today, I’ve built a six-figure income and, more importantly, I’ve been able to help others do the same! Many of them were in similar positions as I once was. My passion now is not just serving clients, but also developing people, helping them see what’s possible, and giving them the tools to create financial freedom and flexibility for their families. So for me, this journey has been about impact, growth, and alignment and doing work that truly matches my purpose while also creating the life I want.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it hasn’t been a smooth road. I’ve experienced some significant personal challenges along the way. I lost my father, and it was a really difficult season when my daughter was in an accident and suffered second-degree burns. For about two months, we were traveling back and forth to the burn unit during her recovery. Even now, I’m supporting a close family member through health challenges. Of course I could go on but its experiences such as those that built my resilience. They taught me how to stay focused, lead through adversity, and keep showing up no matter what. If anything, they’ve made me stronger, more disciplined, and more purpose driven in both my life and my work. Most importantly, I’m very blessed to have a business that allows me to be present when it matters the most!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I work in the financial services industry, where I specialize in helping families build financial security through life insurance, investments, and overall financial education. My focus is really on bridging the gap by making sure everyday families understand how money works and have access to the same strategies typically reserved for the wealthy. In addition to serving clients, I also specialize in developing people. I mentor and train individuals who want to build their own business, create additional income, and ultimately gain more control over their time and finances. What I’m most proud of the impact that im making by helping families get educated on finances and applying the knowledge they receive. I’m also proud of being able to watch people on my team grow, both financially and personally. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with people and truly meet them where they are. With my background in social work and counseling, I lead with a sense of empathy, but I also bring structure, accountability, and high standards. I’m not just focused on results. I’m focused on developing people into who they need to become to sustain those results.

So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
There are a few ways people can work with or support me. First, I’m always open to helping individuals and families who want to get their finances in order. Whether that’s protection, building wealth, or just gaining a better understanding of how money works. I also collaborate with people who are open to exploring an additional income stream or building a business of their own. I provide mentorship, training, and a system for them to grow. Lastly, support can be as simple as staying connected by referrals, partnerships, or even just sharing the mission. I’m big on relationships, so I’m always open to connecting with like-minded people who are passionate about growth, impact, and helping others.
