Today we’d like to introduce you to Ashton Moore.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
There’s a moment every buyer and seller reaches—the point where excitement gives way to uncertainty. Questions begin to pile up.
Will my home sell? What is it really worth? What can I afford next? Where do I even start?
For many along the Grand Strand, that moment is where Ashton Moore becomes part of the story.
A Georgetown County native, Ashton’s connection to the area isn’t something he learned—it’s something he’s lived. Aside from five years spent serving in the United States Marine Corps, the Grand Strand has always been home. From the historic streets of Georgetown to the steady expansion of Carolina Forest, and across communities like Myrtle Beach, Conway, North Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach, and Murrells Inlet, he has witnessed firsthand how the region has grown and evolved over time.
His personal experience stretches across multiple communities, having lived in Litchfield, Murrells Inlet, Market Common, and Carolina Forest. That familiarity gives him a perspective that goes beyond data points—an understanding of the character, pace, and appeal of each area that only comes from being part of it.
Before real estate, Ashton built his foundation in the service industry, starting in the 1990s while still in high school. Over the years, he grew into a successful business owner, developing a reputation rooted in communication, reliability, and delivering for clients. Those same principles now define his approach to real estate.
Today, Ashton works with buyers and sellers throughout the Grand Strand, helping them move forward with clarity in what can often feel like an overwhelming process.
What distinguishes Ashton is not just his professional experience, but his personal one. Having bought and sold multiple properties across the Grand Strand himself, he understands the weight behind each decision—the financial considerations, the timing, and the emotions that come with it. It’s insight that allows him to guide clients with both confidence and practicality.
In a region that continues to grow and change, Ashton Moore remains grounded in what has always mattered most to him: a commitment to the people he serves, a deep understanding of the community he calls home, and the belief that real estate, when handled the right way, should feel less like a transaction—and more like a step forward.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I actually transitioned quite well from my last business, where I ran a very successful carpet cleaning business (service industry). I built many relationships with clients over the years through repeat business and referrals, which goes hand in hand with what buyers and sellers alike are looking for when deciding on who they want to represent them in a real estate transaction. Trust, loyalty, knowledge and the reputation as a hustler with great work ethics. Of course there was a down market and some personal challenges heading into and including the covid years that prompted the direction I chose to take my career
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
“Grand Strand native delivering results across Horry & Georgetown Counties through local expertise, strong negotiation, and a client-first approach. Helping buyers and sellers move with confidence—and always striving to help them Expect Moore.”
What was your favorite childhood memory?
I would have to say “the feeling” of hitting a walk off double to win the State playoffs that sent us into the World Series
