Check Out Allison Daniels’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Allison Daniels.

Hi Allison, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always had a love for photography, often told I have an eye for it. Growing up, I enjoyed capturing moments with my friends and editing the photos afterwards. One day, I found my aunt’s old camera and lens, which sparked my curiosity even more. I taught myself how to use a Canon camera and quickly fell deeper into the art of photography. A little over a year ago, I decided to take a leap of faith and start my own photography business. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working on weddings, sporting events, lifestyle sessions, and portraits. I’m incredibly grateful for my husband, whose encouragement gave me the confidence to pursue my dream.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest obstacle is learning to trust the process. Managing a business at a young age comes with its challenges, but in the end, it’s absolutely worth it. My favorite phrase right now is “Do it anyways.” If I am worried about how something it will turn out, I do it anyways. I am always learning and growing in my profession. I am so glad I branched out and tried different styles of photography- it has allowed me to find what I am truly passionate about.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a visual artist. I specialize in a variety of photography styles, including portraits, weddings, couples, and sports. I love capturing the unique moments and emotions that make each experience special. I am very proud of the work I put out because it shows my distinct style, which sets me apart from others.

I’m recognized for the variety of photoshoots I offer and my ability to adapt to different environments, ensuring I capture the best moments in every setting. I also love meeting new people and learning about them. Being trusted to capture someone’s special day through photography is an incredible feeling!

What are your plans for the future?
I am always looking for new ways to grow my business. I would love to do more traveling photoshoots, allowing me to expand my portfolio. I would also love to do more portrait sessions especially ones showcasing fashion or promoting something.
