Check Out Alessandra Bracciodieta’s Story

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Alessandra Bracciodieta, owner of Alessandra Nicole Photography.

Hi Alessandra, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.

My name is Alessandra, but I mostly go by Ali. I am the owner of Alessandra Nicole Photography, based in Myrtle Beach and serving clients from Pawleys Island to North Myrtle Beach. I occasionally travel as well!

I was born and raised on Long Island, New York, and photography has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I got my first Polaroid camera at six years old and never really stopped taking photos — it just took me a while to realize it could be more than a hobby.

Before moving to Myrtle Beach, I spent almost nine years working in corporate car insurance. The corporate world had its perks (I do appreciate a catered lunch), but creatively, it just wasn’t for me. When we relocated to the South Carolina coast in 2024, I decided it was time to stop playing it safe and turn photography into my full-time career.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Honestly, I was floored by how much momentum my first year brought. I had the privilege of working with incredible families throughout Myrtle Beach, Pawleys Island, and North Myrtle Beach — and even traveled back to New York for sessions. The support from both local families and vacationing clients along the Grand Strand has meant everything.
That said, building a photography business from the ground up comes with challenges. I’ve had to navigate self-doubt, learn the business side of running a photography brand, and balance motherhood with entrepreneurship. My husband is in law enforcement, so unpredictable schedules are part of our life. It’s one of the reasons I offer flexibility and special consideration for military and first responder families visiting or living in the Myrtle Beach area. I understand how hard it can be to plan, and I never want scheduling to be the reason memories go undocumented.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I serve families and small businesses along the Grand Strand as a Myrtle Beach family and branding photographer, booking sessions from Pawleys Island to North Myrtle Beach. I started with family photography and have expanded into branding sessions, small weddings, and one of my favorites — surprise beach proposals. There’s nothing like capturing that exact moment everything changes.

What sets me apart is the experience and delivery. I don’t believe in stiff posing or forcing kids to smile. I meet children where they are and create a natural rhythm that feels relaxed while still making sure mom walks away with photos she loves. Whether it’s a family session, branding shoot, or beach proposal, I want it to feel easy — never stressful.

I don’t limit the number of images delivered. I provide an estimated session length, but if a moment is meaningful, you’ll receive it. My editing style stays true to color, especially during those golden Myrtle Beach sunsets — I want you to remember the sky exactly as it looked.

I’m most proud that my business reflects my values. As a law enforcement family, I offer discounts to military and first responder families as a genuine thank you — from one family to another.

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
People are often surprised to learn how Type A I actually am. My sessions feel relaxed and easy, but behind the scenes I’m incredibly detail-oriented. I’ve usually thought through multiple backup plans before we even start — especially for beach sessions in Myrtle Beach, where weather and light can change quickly.

My mind is always working to make each session seamless. For branding sessions, I bring the little things people forget — mirrors, bobby pins, even nail glue. For beach family sessions, my car is stocked with camping chairs and water in case a grandparent or little one needs a break while we’re photographing.

I truly take the time to get to know the people I’m working with. When clients feel comfortable and cared for, the session becomes fun instead of stressful — and that’s when the most natural, meaningful photos happen.
