Rising Stars: Meet Willow Fuller of Columbia

Today we’d like to introduce you to Willow Fuller.

Willow Fuller

Hi Willow; we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Hello, my name is Willow Fuller. I am a professional model. I have been modeling for about 10 years. How I started was a lot different from many other models. I met a photographer and became their muse, which is their helper. So if they wanted to test new equipment or try something, I would be the model. Starting in 2022, I joined a modeling school called Bellah Modeling Agency. From there, I have done runways and many photoshoots to build a portfolio. I model as a hobby. I love doing it. I do it for love, not money, because it’s what I want to do. Now I know people that modeling is their life. For me, it’s just something I love doing. I am currently a student. I plan to become an orthodontist one day. I work to keep myself busy when I do not have school or modeling. I am a lifeguard and work at a Herbalife Nutrition shop. Always remember to follow your dream; people will try to drag you down. But if you have a dream, do it. Ultimately, you will be happier even if the people are out of your life. Choose Happiness!

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been a challenging road. Most people don’t believe that I can succeed. But that is what drives me to keep going. I want to prove everyone wrong.

Thanks for sharing that. So, you could tell us a bit more about your work.
Modeling is a very creative profession. I have done a lot of photoshoots, all very different. I am very good at doing bright and colorful photoshoots. I don’t have many dark or all-black shoots.

Any advice for finding a mentor or networking in general?
Do a lot of research; there are a lot of scams out there. Always bring someone with you. No matter what, bring someone you trust.
