Inspiring Conversations with Kasey Oliver of Spine Pain Center – Mount Pleasant

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kasey Oliver.

Hi Kasey; thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello! My name is Kasey Oliver. I want to introduce myself as a chiropractor in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. I graduated with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College in June of 2021 and practiced my first year of chiropractic in the Midwest in Norfolk, Nebraska. I am excited to return to my roots in the South and look forward to serving the Lowcountry area! Before attending Palmer College, I was a medical device sales rep for Johnson and Johnson, selling medical equipment for spinal surgeries. Seeing spinal surgeries in the operating room was a breathtaking experience. During this time, I realized my true calling is to help patients with conservative care before opting for invasive measures such as surgery. I attended Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach for undergrad, where I played softball. As a former collegiate athlete, I am enthusiastic about working with other athletes and their physical needs. However, I was introduced to my passion for family chiropractic and working with pediatrics and expectant mothers at Palmer College. I am certified in Webster Technique for Prenatal care and have completed and obtained my certification in pediatric and family care (CACCP- Certified by the Academy Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics). When I am not at the office, I love to spend quality time with my family, work out, watch sports, and travel! I was born in Savannah, Georgia, and have lived in eight states in my thirty years! I love warm weather, and my favorite place is anywhere with a great view. I would love to meet you all—please stop by Spine Pain Center Mount Pleasant and say hello!

Would it have been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Being a D1 collegiate athlete, I have learned there will always be struggles and challenges, but how you hold yourself through adversity matters. Making medical device sales right out of college for a year and a half before deciding to return to school and become a chiropractor was challenging. Returning to school and getting your doctorate was hard, but it was worth it!

We’ve been impressed with Spine Pain Center- Mount Pleasant, but for folks who might need to be more familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are a local, family-owned chiropractic facility. We provide hands-on, holistic chiropractic care and rehab in our office. Chiropractic is about restoring the nervous system so the brain and body communicate properly and you function at your best. We are a husband/wife team and take pride in the relationships we build with our practice members. Being former athletes, we love seeing that population but strive for family chiropractic. Our oldest patient was 101, and the youngest was 11 days old. We love serving everyone! I also have a specialization in pediatrics and pregnant women. Our mission is to serve you and your friends/family so you can live your optimal life!

Before we go, can you talk to us about how people can work, collaborate, or support you?
We love getting out in the community and giving back by doing “stress breaks” and spine analyses. We go to different businesses and schools and give back to the community by doing these free 10-minute sessions and massages and talking to people about chiropractic in general. Stopping by our office, getting to know us, and telling your friends and family would also be a great support! We would love to be part of your health journey.
