Today we’d like to introduce you to Stacey Willett George.
Hi Stacey; please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I settled down in Myrtle Beach about 10 years ago from Maryland, where I had owned a dance studio! After years of working with children and teaching award-winning dances, I decided I was ready for a change but not ready to give up creating magic with children. After reflecting, I thought, what’s more, magical than princesses and superheroes? Confetti Princess Parties was born!
We all face challenges, but would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It’s been a pretty smooth road! I’ve had some guidance from other princess company owners around the world that has made a big difference in the transition from dance studios to princesses!
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Transitioning to the world of princess parties was easier than I initially imagined. There is still magic in both; the main difference is working with the princesses to bring those stories to life instead of breathing life into songs. Previously, I created dances and coordinated a dance studio’s behind-the-scenes. I’m excited that I can not only do something new but also incorporate my lifelong passion for dance into this.
What do you think about luck?
I’ve received my fair share of good and bad luck, which has helped shape me into who I am. The dance studio taught me how important it is to be honest, caring, and ethical. It’s helped me to recognize how important business relationships are as well. The better you bring to the world, the better it returns to you.
