Today we’d like to introduce you to Nasya Flowers.
Hi Nasya, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I always knew I wanted to be a boss with multiple streams of income, “Sage Galore” is only the start of it. I got my Bachelor’s degree in business management solely to learn the ropes of running my own business. Once I graduated, it was up. I legalized my brand and started thinking of ways to expand it, Sage Galore started as a customized named jewelry business but once I rebranded, I made it into an online clothing boutique. Crazy thing is, this is literally in the beginning. I haven’t even gotten started yet honestly. My brand will be bigger than ever within the next two years. I’m already knowing!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s a lot that comes with being an entrepreneur fr but folks don’t tell you that part. No, it hasn’t been a smooth road but that’s the beauty of it. I’d say the only struggle I have, is not selling out within the first hour of a new drop lol. Also, they don’t tell you that most of your support will come from strangers. I’m always appreciative of who does support thought so I’m never really focused on who doesn’t.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Sage Galore?
Sage Galore is now an online clothing boutique. I sell strictly women’s clothing; however, as I stated before, my brand will be expanding. I feel like the thing that set my brand apart from all the other clothing boutiques around my area is that it’s unique, from the inventory to the packaging to the social media marketing. I always try to go for cute and different pieces that I haven’t seen in any other boutiques around here in. I never want to be doing or selling what everybody else is doing or selling. I’m proud of the fact that this is all me. Literally all me, I invested in everything all by myself. I just be looking back thinking “girl you raw!” I have a business Instagram page as well as a website. Check us out on IG @sagegalorebouqtie or our website www.sagegalore.com!
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
I’m a firm believer in “no risks no reward.” Granted, being nervous goes hand in hand with taking risks but I’m always willing to dive in head first. That’s just me! I feel like you’re either going to succeed or fail, there is no in-between so why not just take the risk? You’ll never know until you try, right? There’s been a time when I literally invested all my money into my brand not even knowing if I was going to make it back or not (luckily I did). I say that to say the bigger the risks the greater the reward. You can’t expect to level up just by playing it safe. The ones playing it safe are usually the ones that stay stuck in the same place.
