Today we’d like to introduce you to Rozalyn Franklin.

Hi Rozalyn, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I am a retired AT&T customer sales and service representative with over 30 years in the business. During my career, I held many different titles and was very active in the union CWA as an officer and a job steward, I worked closely with management and employees. I got my real estate license while working at AT&T and held both jobs until I retired. I fell into the housing market in 2008 and 2009 when many families felt the fallout from all the predatory lending. Many homeowners found themselves drowning and upside down in their mortgages. My skills as a negotiator in the union allowed me to help hundreds of South Carolina homeowners get out and start over. I have been a realtor for over 20 years and have experienced many faces of the real estate market. Helping families achieve their homeownership dreams is my top priority.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The housing market is a roller coaster from interest rates to inventory. My biggest struggle is knowing that I am advising my clients correctly. I want them to know everything so that they can make the right decisions for themselves and their families. For example, Clients that are struggling to hold on to a home that they can no longer afford. Helping them to understand that it’s time to let go and start looking at tomorrow.
