Today we’d like to introduce you to Diandra Dellucci.
Hi Diandra, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I was introduced to photography in high school. Back when we had film and a dark room. I have had many jobs growing up, from working on cars to 11 years with a huge shipping company. But photography was always a passion for me. My 1st love of photography was working with children. Some people get stressed out over the little ones “not listening”, especially your parents! LOL! I find it FUN! I get to be a kid again and take pictures at the same time! WIN-WIN for me! That was my first love of photography, and I cannot give that up but after struggling with my own body image for my entire life I found the healing powers in Boudoir photography. Seeing women transform and heal in front of my eyes has been one of the best things I have witnessed. I couldn’t choose one over the other so if you ask me what I prefer I cannot give you an answer.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?

What a lot of people don’t know is that I homeschool my two children and struggle with my own learning disability as an adult. It is not something people talk about but for me, it had been my biggest struggle as a parent and business owner. People look down on you if you make a spelling error or can’t pronounce a word properly but if they took time to know me or knew my story, they will see how far I have come against the odds. Even though this isn’t about “photography” it is a part of who I am. I was told I could never run my own business and I wasn’t “smart enough” to home-school not only one but both of my children.
