Meet Ellie Lieberman

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ellie Lieberman.

Ellie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I am born and raised in Los Angeles. I come from a family of gifted people in many different ways. When my father was in his youth, he would meditate and not need novocaine at the dentist. My mother just simply “knows things”.

Realizing I was a psychic person unfolded through a series of events that occurred over time from my childhood through my early twenties. Eventually, it became apparent that this was what I was going to be doing for the rest of my life.

After professionally reading for about 4 years, my childhood best friend introduced me to some young women on social media who would go Live and promote their small stores. She told me they were talking about psychics and I should go on and read them.

I absolutely went for it and boy did I not know what was next but God/the Universe definitely set me up on this one.

I read these women in real time in front of their community in their small town. It was a profound moment for everyone. I started to build my relationships and reputation with them and eventually, they invited me out to come feature at their tiny store.

I honestly don’t think they thought I would come, but I bought my ticket and flew out to this tiny little town in Maryland called Rising Sun.

6 months later I ended up packing my things in Los Angeles and drove across the country with everything I owned in my father’s old SUV and drove across the country.

I spent almost 4 years in Maryland and made a name for myself. I built my business and helped a lot of people. Eventually, I became a big fish in a small pond and I knew something was going to change again.

Covid hit and I was scared my business wouldn’t sustain. An acquaintance of mine asked me if I was interested in a Graphic Design position at the company she worked for. I hadn’t worked for anyone in almost ten years, but what many people didn’t know about me was that I have a degree in Fine Arts and a passion for graphic design for entrepreneurs.

Long story short, I applied and got the job. That job was located in Charleston South Carolina. I worked remotely for 3 months, came for a visit and fell in love with Charleston. I knew when I visited the first time, that I would move here permanently. 3 months later I packed up my things and moved.

I worked as a graphic designer for a year and loved it, but I also knew it was just a littttleeee stepping stone to a bigger picture. I am looking forward to being able to influence this beautiful city and help as many people as possible to grow, and flourish and heal.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Some of the obstacles… SO MANY OBSTACLES. Being a spiritual counselor has many aspects that require absolute faith and confidence in what you’re doing for people.

Anytime I doubt myself, it’s like the Universe backhands me back into place. I can really only stray so far away from my soul purpose otherwise chaos ensues in my life and I end up back at the beginning again.

This honestly isn’t a bad thing. I am grateful to know what I am meant to do in this life. I think a lot of people spend most of their life seeking the answer to that alone.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
In technical terms, I am a psychic for a living. In the spiritual and metaphysical world, I am considered a healer.

I am a natural intuitive. I use metaphysical tools to connect to energy and help people find themselves. I often find myself deeply connected to people and people find themselves deeply connected to me.

It is my purpose to help people on a deep level. It’s always an honor to provide clarity within our experiences in order best serve ourselves and the people surrounding us. For me, that is the ‘aha’ moment is the most rewarding aspect of my job.

I think what sets me apart from other people in my field is my Relatability and just overall willingness to be straightforward. I am kind but I am also that tough love type of person who will not waiver.

Where do you see things going in the next 5-10 years?
It is now officially cool to be spiritual. In a lot of ways, this is a good thing. I don’t have to fight an uphill battle to prove myself and people aren’t taken back by my profession as much.

The other side of it has dampened the value of genuine healing. There are a lot of individuals out there that think they can just pick up a deck of cards and give general insight and that makes them psychic.

For me, either way benefits me. I am the real deal and that shines within the industry when my clients experience sessions with me compared to others.
