Hi Kiera, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I started Lash Addict by Ki and Accessories, LLC in 2019 with $100 and hope that it will be bigger than my dreams could ever imagine. 2 years, several weeks/months without orders later and my business is flourishing and expanding by the day. I wanted to give up multiple times but I always knew I was stronger than my obstacles. Here I am today, A small-town girl from Orangeburg, South Carolina accomplishing her dreams and pushing herself to do anything she can put her mind to. I decided to take my businesses a step forward once I graduated from The University of South Carolina-Aiken. Through perseverance and failures, I knew one day I would be a successful black business woman with many great opportunities such as this one.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Entrepreneurship has not been a smooth road but I never gave up or lost hope. One of the main things I struggled with was support and then I later realized that support will come eventually. Stay consistent and never lose focus of your dreams and goals. Keep promoting your brand and your support will find you.

Lash Addict by Ki and Accessories, LLC offers long-lasting 100% mink lashes, purses, shades, jewelry, and more. I offer business consultations on the topics of support, logo designs, wholesale and marketing. We specialize in natural and exotic mink lashes that you can wear up to 20 times with proper care. My services and quality sets me apart from other brands alongside serving our community by hosting our “Spread The Love” events all around South Carolina making someone smile one care package at a time.
Where we are in life is often partly because of others. Who/what else deserves credit for how your story turned out?
My mother and grandmother have been my #1 supporters since Day 1. Having 100% support from my family motivates me to push forward to create generational wealth. My close family, friends, brand ambassadors and complete strangers deserve a mass amount of credit for supporting me along the way. My business and marketing coaches C.metro and Jamie Barbie also deserve credit for how they have helped my business prosper. Thank you!
