Today we’d like to introduce you to Tony Wright.
Hi Tony, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
When I was young, I always love television and fashion. I just never thought I could combine both. I was serving our country and when I had to do something else my passion for television came back. I did not do it right away I wanted because I did not know any behind scenes people who look like me. I found some like Devon Franklin, Bryon Allen, and Tyler Perry and knew I could do it as long I did not give up and the fashion I started when I was young as well. I started designing but got more passionate when my passion for media and fashion collided.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a journey because I am a faith-based designer and producer. So, to be able to write the best and to get money and sponsoring for shows have been rough at times. I just know giving up has never been an option.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
What sets me apart is I show I’m not ashamed of being a Christian and my businesses show that. I’ve done a movie called Southern Tea. I’m working on my next project and we have a radio show called Beyond the Airwaves with Twright and Kendra.
So, before we go, how can our readers or others connect or collaborate with you? How can they support you?
They can reach out on social media through Flava Beginnings and Cia Media Network Productions.
