Today we’d like to introduce you to Chad Singer.
Chad, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Starting at college, I went to college at The Citadel and graduated with a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. Upon graduation, I commissioned into the US Navy and was then stationed in San Diego, California. After serving four and a half years in the Navy I decided to get out of the Navy and get into dog training. I started Canine Revolution Dog Training when I moved back home to South Carolina in 2017. Since then, we have built our team which now consists of 4 Certified Professional Dog Trainers, 9 Training Assistants, 1 Production Lead, and 1 Admin Assistant.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I think every path / road has their challenges, those challenges can either teach you and develop you or crush you. We had some struggles along the way, starting and growing a business is difficult and scary at times. Growing your team is a steep learning curve in leadership and management. Ensuring quality control of your service or product as you grow is a challenge as well.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about Canine Revolution Dog Training?
Canine Revolution Dog Training’s mission is to “Enhance the dog and owner relationship through education, balance, and pack instincts.”
We specialize in helping pet dogs be the best they can be with their family. We are known to handle the most difficult behavior rehabilitation cases and for providing the most extensive support to those who utilize our services.
What really sets us apart from any other dog training organization is our staff of Training Assistants. Our staff is on site around the clock taking care of dogs, training, exercising, etc. This is something that no other organization in our area provides, most likely due to the expenses required to maintain a staff at this level.
We are extremely proud of the relationships we have with our clients and team, we feel like “Canine Revolution” is a family, whether you are a prospective client just having us over for a consultation, an Alumni who has completed one of our training programs, one of our team members, or someone that we routinely associate with!
Taking care of dogs 24/7/365 and training dogs is an extremely busy line of work, our entire team puts 110% into what we do every day and ensuring the best for the dogs entrusted to our care. We are extremely honored to have the opportunity to work with the dogs and owners that select our services.
What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
One of the best things about the Charleston area is the sense of community you get when you are out interacting with people.
One thing I hope to see in the future is more outdoor hangout areas. Outdoor shopping centers, restaurants with well set-up outdoor dining areas, etc. I believe that there has been a lot of movement toward this lifestyle in the recent years and hope to see more develop as the area continues to develop.
