Hi Stephanie, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
TopLine Royalty Boutique was founded in February 2020 by myself Stephanie Polite. I’ve worked in healthcare for almost a decade and decided I wanted to pursue my passion of being an entrepreneur. I decided that I wanted to open a women’s plus size fashion boutique because I feel like there was a high demand for it. I know it was the right move because I can relate to the needs of what plus-size women want and need in fashion do to myself being a tall plus size woman. I know the challenges plus-size women face finding the right trendy apparel to fit their curves and I want to help bring awareness to plus-size women are confident with their curves and want to embrace it with trendy fashion.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
When I open TopLine Royalty Boutique, I didn’t think I would be faced with so many challenges, but the greatest challenge I have faced was the Pandemic hitting right when I announced TopLine Royalty Boutique. The pandemic hit the fashion and retail market pretty hard due to most customers losing employment and wasn’t able to focus on buying their wants such as clothing and accessories. Around that time, I wasn’t able to market my brand the way I wanted to and bring notoriety to the plus-size world.
We’ve been impressed with TopLine Royalty Boutique, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
TopLine Royalty Boutique is the next plus size top leading fashion brand that has a variety of trendy, stylish chic women’s fashions. We offer the latest celebrity-inspired chic looks for plus-size women, fashion jewelry, sassy handbags, and stylish sunglasses. We do free giveaways on Instagram as well as Facebook.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I define success as one who is able to achieve and overcome their obstacles and challenges. Success to me is when you have faith in yourself and you don’t give up. Success is when you learn from failures and become more eager to strive for the best.
