Life & Work with Anderson Nance

Today we’d like to introduce you to Anderson Nance.

Anderson, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I’ve always had a job since I was 16 years old, so working hard was ingrained into my being. But at the age of 27, I looked around and realized it has gotten me nowhere except in other people’s companies working for them instead of living my dreams.

So, I figured I’ve always wanted to do comedy so I went for it been doing it ever since.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
No! The majority of the struggles come from balancing a job, comedy, social life, etc. And another is lack of resources.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a standup comedian by trade. This means I take my life and the events of our world and explore them in creative and funny ways. As a result, I make ppl laugh and bring them joy. The thing that sets me apart is my fearlessness when it comes to tackling controversial or taboo subject matters.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
The importance of comedy. Comedy is more than just telling jokes. It’s an art form that allows conflicting ideals to be expressed in nonviolent ways.
